    Any review ?

    • +2

I did some reading on this.

Also searched Youtube for reviews (e.g.).

Looks good to me as a first time user of basic robovac.

      It sucks.

    • Had one for 4 years and still going strong. Mopping is a bit meh but does a good job overall.

    • Have this for over a year now. Definitely good for $200. Don’t expect anything from mopping. Great suction power though. You will need to regularly empty dust box.

this is about late 2021 or early 2022 model
peanuts price, but very OLD model

    • +3

As long as it does its job.

Just like people are still buying Dyson V8.

      • Does it do a good job esp for mopping though ? I read that it is not good in mopping

      • +1

        very true!
depending on how you going to use it
I also recently go to this robot vacuum
after experienced the entry model vs. highend model (borrowed from a friend)
I can see the difference especially I notice on the mopping
this model on sale is an early tech for mopping…. so beware
BTW I'm still using DC31 with 2-3 time battrey swap from ebay… and still does the job

As someone with a pretty severe dustmite allergy, I bought a Dream unit (Z10 with the dock) because of the high specs on the unit. I noticed that I continually felt run down and didn't feel great. I borrowed a friends Roborock unit and it pulled out a huge amount of dust on the first go.

I then swapped permanently to the Roborock, and after some research found out that Dreame doesn't use a proper HEPA filter whereas Roborock does.

Just an FYI for anyone else considering. I won't buy anything but Roborock now.

    • Firstly, I'm very happy you feel better!

Secondly, I'm a total noob, but still tried to do some research into this, mainly because I'd seen some other vacs that did not claim they were HEPA certified.

      • I found the Filter Efficiency page, which says that dust mites are filtered at a lower filtration level (G1-4) than HEPA (E10-U16)
      • dust-mites.com says filtration levels should be with a MERV rating from 8 to 13 to effectively capture dust mites.
      • This seems consistent with this air purifier info which says " For context, most dust particles range from 0.5 to 100 microns, with dust mite allergens typically being around 10-40 microns in size".

Then I did some searching into 'minimum size dust mite particles'. Whoa!

      • dust composition says "Their droppings are 10 to 40 microns, but the allergens on the droppings are even smaller. Dust mites and their droppings are too large and heavy to stay in the air for very long, so most of the exposure will either come from stirred-up dust or dust on pillows and other bedding. The actual allergen is a tiny protein which is on the order of 10 nanometers 0.01 microns, so if the droppings break up into smaller pieces they still can still trigger allergies."
      • particles size guide Dust Mites : 0.001-2 microns

Conclusion: depending on how allergic you are to dust mites, HEPA could offer a big advantage!

      • HEPA is the gold standard if you have dust allergies :) wouldn’t get anything less. Dyson pioneered a lot of it becoming mainstream.

Wow. I have the D10s Plus. Paid like…800!? 2 years ago.

Been a great machine. No major issues. few glitches but that seems pretty standard.

The auto-dock/empty is a lovely convenience, but ultimately just costs you more long-term for extra bags etc.. If you don't mind manually emptying it, it's honestly probably easier/simpler to get a non-auto empty unit. Also means you can potentially hide it all away easier due to the docking station being much smaller/shorter.

    • you can get 12 bags for about 20 bucks on amazon.

Or if you are really cheap you can just keep emptying the 2 bags that come with it.

      • I've tried emptying bags tbh and found it really annoying.

I've read some issues about using cheap/3rd party bags but I can't recall what they were.. I got a 3 pack OEM on sale and I only swap our bag once every 6-9+ months anyway, we try not to let it grab anything more than dust. Anything larger we use stick vac/pickup with hands first as a 'pre clean'.

Mova E20 with dock for $225 a month ago, basically the same unit according to that massive reddit post. So unless you get a dock maybe hold out.

    • This is useful, which makes me wanna HODL for better deal.

Had similar L10 Pro before. Only thing I would say is battery will die after 2-3 years and when it does, the unit will not go back to charge when battery is low, it will just die at random places.

  • How does the mop on this one compares to ozbargain fav Lubluelu SL60D ?

    • Same I would expect, they are all basically the same unit rebranded.
