Noticed that DigiDirect was discounting the Nintendo Switch 2 on their website. Additionally, I'm receiving a $50 coupon off in my cart which brings the price down to $678.65 due to another ongoing deal here (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/920672)

Otherwise if you don't want to wait, price match with Officeworks bringing the price down to $692.22 and pick it up earlier.

Not an all time low but still respectable if you're gonna buy one. Not sure if you can pay with gift cards to make it even cheaper, i.e. 10% off the ultimate him at BIG W at the moment.

Surcharges: 0% card, bank deposit, Afterpay, Latitude, Zip payments | 0.95% PayPal, WeChatPay, AliPay & UnionPay payments.

  • Officeworks Price Match invoice: https://imgur.com/a/tG8loGy

I couldn't be bothered waiting for shipping.

    Good luck!

    • Hmm you absolutely can pay something that is price matched at OW with gift cards.

But it appears Officeworks is not on the Ultimate Him gift card, it's on most of the other ones though.

It's a shame as it would have potentially brought this down to $622 which would be ATL territory

      • Is it not? I thought it was Ultimate Students that had it, but capped at $30, so if you can use 10 GC at officeworks you'd cover half the purchase price and save a further $30. Not worth the effort imo.

        • +1

Yeah it is on Ultimate Students, just not Ultimate Him which is the only one that makes this do-able really. Hopefully another 10% off deal comes up while the price match is still possible at OW

            • @Caml: Yes but see the comments above? Ultimate Him doesn't have Officeworks, and Ultimate Students only is available in $30 denominations.

    • $692 > 678..
Isn't OW meant to price match+beat by 5%?

Don't think I'll bother until they are under $500

I'm receiving a $50 coupon off in my cart which brings the price down to $678.65, not sure if other people can get this

It’s because of this current promo

      Cheers, updated.

  • Yes, also got the discount of $50 at checkout

  • Damn. Just bought one for about $700 yesterday. Should have more patience.😭 Good luck to everyone who got this!

  • Hmm..I did not receive a $50 discount at checkout.
I'm at the click "Place Order" step.

    • Found the problem. Nintendo Switch 2 console only is not eligible for $50 discount. It works on Mario Kart bundle.

Ordered, and got the $50 coupon by using a private browser.
Thanks op, kids will be pumped

$50 off is part or their 20th Birthday Sale. Spend $500+ save $50 👍

I had my Switch 2 (Ebay) EB games order refunded this morning because 'it was collected and never scanned into the Australia Post network. With there not being any updates scans, it is likely to have gone missing within Australia Post'…

Ordered now for $30 less than my EB games order.

Thanks OP. You made my day.

Hope it shows up eventually and you end up with 2

Then you will think about me and send 1 to me :)

  • If you can, reminder to use discounted eBay gift cards to pay the remainder. 3% off through Bupa Life Rewards for instance, brings the eBay deal to $658.30

    • Is this deal available on eBay?

    • Not an eBay deal for this one

  • Both the console only and console bundle with MKW are 10% off on the EB Games eBay store at the moment too using the code RISE10. Not sure if that helps with people trying to use gift cards.

  • Has anyone successfully price match this at Officeworks or JB Hifi?

    • JB refused but I got TGG to price match

      • +1

Worked for me at officeworks. Purchased for $644 using 10% off Studeny gift cards. That's $580 after discounts

        • I admire your efforts! I didn’t want to make the cashier use 20 gift cards :P

        • Assume this is for the console only?

          • @squarepants: No $580 for the mario kart bundle. It wasn't much effort at all. Big w has plenty of Student $50 gift cards. It's the $100 HIM cards that sold out

            • @skye89: Isn't OW 5% price beat on $728 = $692? How did you buy for $644?

              • @zszs: I price beat $678.65, which is after the $50 discount. They reluctantly let me do it

            • @skye89: I thought only the $30 student was on sale

              • @flud: The $30 is not. $50 is. It was 13 cards

            • @skye89: Yeah to zszs’s question how did you get it down to $644 lol.

        • -1

Are you able to post your receipt minus your personal details of course?
That way we can just go in and pricematch OW directly, no screwing around :)

    • I got one from JB. $693.65

      • May we know how to get $693.65 , is it jb hifi 5% price beat?

        • It is this deal, with express shipping.
JB said you need to include the $15 express shipping cause picking it up today is like "express shipping"
          I was happy with that.

          • @xordis: Thank you. you are lucky.

          • @xordis: Lol they got you there. If you stood your ground they'll probably give it to you.

    • I don't think you can price match from the coupon, they price matched the $726 base price.

      • TGG did

  • Never ever trust Digidirect with their Stocks. They never update their inventory online. But hey, this is a good price.

  • Thanks OP - got TGG to price match/beat to $725 and used 10% at Big W and $100 from special gift cards. Didn’t go the Officeworks route since I didn’t know if the gift cards would be in stock. Ended up being ~$645 out of pocket and will claim TRS soon.

    • Question about TRS, do we need to show the actual product? Or just the receipt/invoice? Thanks

      • +1

They might not ask to see it but you should have it with you

      • +2

        Most likely
If ask, then you have to show

  • +3

Was able to get OW to price beat (5%) after $50 discount applied at DigiDirect. They checked their website and whether a discount code was applied before honoring the 5% price beat. (22/08/2025 @ 16:30)
    Switch 2 Mario kart bundle

    DigiDirect $728.65 - $50 (at check out) = $678.65
    Officeworks 5% discount applied = $644.72

If you were able to get discounted gift cards, then that will apply.

    • Nice one!

    • Can you upload your receipt to Imgur? See if other people can give it a shot? :D

    Haven’t uploaded before.

  • Damn they wouldn't price match at ow for me today as awaiting stock on digi

    • Nooo I was gonna try this today.

    An update here guys.

I bought this price beaten by OW yesterday, after 'digiDIRECT' had shown no stock.

    Here's the run down:

I demonstrated to the manager there that although their website is showing 'no stock', it was still possible to buy by showing him that I had it in the cart and it was indeed 'in stock'. I would have gone as far as putting it on 'Afterpay' then cancelling it to make the point.

I asked if he could do it on his end as proof that it was possible. In addition, he had the $50 off coupon, indeed making the total price $678.65.

So, with the 5% price beat it came down to $644.72

They had no stock in that particular OW, so he printed a quote/docket to take to another store that did have stock. Once, you have that quote, you're golden, because you can then make a stop at your local Big-W and stock up on the 10% off 'One4All Ultimate Gift Card (Students)' https://www.bigw.com.au/gift-cards

^ This then brings it down to $580.25

This site has been good to me, so I want to give back when I can. Hopefully you guys will have some fun on your new Switch 2 later today!

    • you dont have a copy of the docket on hand do you?

    • +1

      Worked for me. Thanks!

    • Don’t forget one pass 5x flybys points @ office works.

      They’re worth about $29.

$551 for this seems to be super savings.

    • I managed to do it today at ow, though not perfectly. They didn’t even check whether there was stock at dd. At first, they rejected my request, saying the model number didn’t match. When I asked what model they had, they were quite reluctant to answer, but eventually mentioned 10103. Luckily, I stayed and had browsed online and found that exact number on the dd website. Once I showed them, they quickly accepted and agreed to beat $728.

However, when I pointed out that their own cart showed a price of $678, they insisted that was already a discount and that price-beat doesn’t apply to discount codes. I argued it wasn’t a discount code, but rather the final listed price. They escalated to the manager, who repeated the same explanation. In the end, I gave up - didn’t want to run around to another ow just to save $50 - so I accepted the $69x price.

  • Anyone else get a 3-4 week shipping estimate email?

  • +1

Yeap - mildly irritating as their website clearly wasn't synced with actual stock because was 'in stock' when I added to cart/purchased.
    But hey! no rush anyway
