  • Popular?

Fair call! 'Popular' is a big word. We were just genuinely stoked from the last post—we sold out within a week, but the best part was the feedback from new customers who loved the taste and quality. That's the popularity that really matters to us.

This follow-up offer is just our way of saying thanks and giving folks who missed out last time a chance to try it. Cheers for keeping us honest!

      The GymCrate Team.

      • If you wanted to say thank you, should have increased the discount than dropping it?

        • -1

You're right, it was a killer deal! The 40% was a one-off launch price. The 35% offer is our way of keeping a great discount live for a whole month so more of the community can access it, while still ensuring we can deliver the same premium product the community tried.

Sorry what was the demand? Your last post had 3 upvotes

    • -1

Hey, you're absolutely right on the upvotes—they were low! We were actually referring to the direct response. We sold out our initial stock in a week from the last post and got some really positive feedback on the taste and mixability from many customers who ordered. That's the 'demand' we were genuinely stoked about.

This new September offer is just for the OZB crew who missed out or wanted to see how the first batch went. Thanks for your comment.

      The GymCrate Team.

Nobody in the real world measures results with upvotes, and snarky comments are no kind of contribution.

I initially thought the same thing but a lot of people don't vote and don't even sign in / have an OzB account (and cant vote).

More useful perhaps, were just over 550 click-throughs to the site on the last deal.

Of course that doesn't translate into 500 sales, but a good level of interest for the company I'm sure.

    • I probably upvote about 3% of the deals I buy from. I never remember

I ordered a few bags and didn’t upvote. Also people not logged in don’t upvote but click through. Calm down daddy

    Premium!?!!!!
Why do you think your product is premium?
What’s in it? Other popular powders are just regular, but yours is considered premium!!!
Not worth even with %35 off!

    • -2

That's a fair question, and it's exactly what we're trying to differentiate. For us, 'premium' isn't a marketing term—it's a checklist of specs and processes that cost more to produce.

Here’s why we stand by that claim:
-Higher Protein Percentage: Our blend is 80% protein by weight. Many popular whey proteins sit at 70-75%, meaning you're getting more filler and less protein per gram.
-Natural Sweetening & Flavouring: We use organic stevia and natural flavours, not artificial sweeteners (like sucralose/Acesulfame K) or cheap artificial flavours. This matters to a lot of people who care about what they're putting in their bodies.
-Transparency & Testing: Every batch is independently lab-tested for protein content and purity. You can see the actual report on our website. We guarantee you're getting what the label says.
-Clean Ingredient List: Our list is short. Protein, flavour, stevia, vegetable gum (for mixability). No sneaky fillers, no unnecessary junk.

You're right, many proteins are 'regular' and claim that they're 'premium'. They cut corners on these points to hit a lower price. We chose to invest in the points above instead.

The 35% off is a chance to try this difference for yourself at a much lower risk. We're confident that if you taste it and compare the ingredients, you'll see where the value is.

        bullshit

      • I feel a bit sorry for the level of scrutiny you're under here because you're just trying to get into a very tough market with very fine margins but I think you're being misleading here and I think you have to know that you are stretching the truth.

WPI/WPC Blends tend to have about 80% due to the WPI boosting the average 70-75g of WPC only products. That is the general standard and the reason it costs a bit more than WPC. Pure products blend is 80%, sports supplement direct is 80%+. Your product is not premium at all in the context of WPC/WPI blends.

        And those products are cheaper.

        Best of luck, though.

  • +9

$45 per kg for a WPC/WPI blend, that seems expensive.

Better off with INC WPI from Chemist Warehouse when it's on special.

    • Sorry but INC is trash compared to this.

The main thing it has going for it is it's price, which shouldn't be the most important factor when it comes to something you're possibly consuming on a daily basis.

  • -1

Is there a WPI option coming up? Also, do you have a scoop in the bag? Is it a single scoop per serving size?

    • That's a great question. All our bags come with a scoop inside and it's a single scoop per serve (on average 35g).

Regarding WPI, we've deliberately chosen not to offer a pure WPI at this time, and it comes down to our focus on the overall experience.

Our goal was to create a blend that delivers the best of both worlds: the better taste and texture of WPC combined with the high protein density of an Isolate.

Our current blend provides 28g of protein per 35g scoop (80% protein density)—while remaining extremely low in calories. We've found that this approach gives you high protein efficiency, but with a significantly better taste and mixability.

For us, it was a choice between a theoretically 'perfect' spec sheet and a product that people genuinely enjoy drinking every day. We chose the latter.

We appreciate you asking—it lets us explain our 'why!

  • I'll give it a try. 1.5kg choc and 1.5kg salted caramel ordered. If the bulk of the raw ingredient is genuinely Australian Made vs just Australian 'sourced' from imported product, then even better.

The previous ad expired not even 2 weeks ago & was 40% off so this seems more like just using OzB for free adz.

Also no prices listed so where's the bargain?

  • +3

    Price not listed in title.

  • +1

There is option of unflavoured , ill pass VPA works out to be much cheaper.

  • I see no mention of the wpi/wpc ratio (could be just 5% wpi for all we know), and SSD has straight wpi for $49.95/kg, less with multiple kilos. Their wpi/wpc blend (best direct comparison) is $43. EBay Plus discounts will knock off more if you order strategically.

Geez with all the crappy deals on protein powder these days the crowd is rough tonight. I ordered 2 bags last time and paid about $100 delivered, came within 2 days and tasted great.

People complaining go back to amino Z and pay their exorbitant prices with no discounts!

    • +1

Its a miserable time to be a live, everyone is on edge and just complain to feel better.
