It was free until I applied the code then it charged me $8.99

Plenty around Perth depending on colour and size or delivery availabile for quite a few too. Absolutely obtainable.

  • Not much stock on the men's. Women's Uber Light, also $56 with the code:
    https://www.bcf.com.au/p/macpac-womens-uber-light-down-puffe…

  • How’s the sizing? I’m 183, 75kg. Lanky. M or L?

    • -2

I think large, please check some of friends

    • I tried the large on and it fit pretty good (for me), I'm 180 and 80kgs.

      • I'm 180 and a bit over 80Kg and I'm wearing a medium right now.
Sleeve length is good and body length is good.
It's pretty tight around the waist. Not like "suck it in" tight, just forming a "seal" tight.

I'd go a large if I was wider through the shoulders.

        • yeah I'm a bit wider in the shoulders (relatively) so makes sense.

    • Don't have mine with me ATM but I'm 72.5kg, 178cm - I think it's either S or M

    • 85kg 183cm, wear a medium.

    • I think M they are usually on the large fit side. I wear M but the other model. 184cm, 84 kg

      • Thanks, unfortunately can't be shipped to my location and nothing close to me. Would've got an M.

    • they run big
I am 173cm 70kg but wear a XS. Usually wear sz small for other brands

    • Macpac runs large…

    • Large

    • I am 185cm and 85 kg. I have a medium

    • If you like layering get large, if not get medium.

    • Medium. I'm 185. 78kg. Lanky af.

  • I got one when they were $80 about a month ago, really good quality and unexpectedly warm. They run pretty spot on for size, possibly a little small

    • +5

That's so different to my experience. Quite light on in terms of down and running big!

      • Totally agree. It is too light in terms of down. Still feel cold even indoors. And size I find it bigger than the Halo range.

        • I wore mine in Norway and Iceland in autumn and found I was unzipping it to not overheat just strolling!
It packs up very small (I've actually misplaced it somewhere around the house it is so small packed).

          • @mskeggs: Haha I can relate… I have a vest somewhere that I can't find. Must have packed it into a suitcase somewhere…

        • +1

You have to layer with them, if you're trying to be an office bro with your jacket/vest over a business shirt they don't do a whole lot.

          • +1

@dav3: Yep, agree but that defeats the purpose. Rather wear one piece of jacket that is warm than multiple thin jackets.

      • Its uber light for a reason. It usually doesn't get that cold in Sydney, and it should be getting warmer from here out.

        • Yeah I've got both the Uber Light and Halo and from my experience I get more wear from the Uber Light. Am based in Sydney. The Halo is quite warm so you'd probably get about 2 months of wear a year (assuming you don't travel somewhere super cold), whereas the Uber Light you can wear from Autumn onwards (until it becomes too cold).

  • Pretty cheesed with them. Ordered a jacket a month ago and paid via gift card - but then they said they sold too many jackets and had no inventory left so I'm stuck with a gift card and nothing to buy. Looks like they still have no inventory - looking at Sydney everything is pretty much gone.

    • +2

You paid via gift card and they refunded you via gift card so now you're stuck with the same gift card prior to paying? I think I'm missing something here.

      • +8

If he had known there was no inventory, he wouldn’t have bought a gift card in the first place and could have spent the money elsewhere. Maybe?

        • +1

Yah @kampret has it right. If they had said on their site they had no inventory I wouldn't have bought a gift card. That's what I get I guess for trying a save a bit of money (although we are on OzB lol). A bit frustrating they can't manage their inventory properly.

          • +4

@donfandango: Ok that checks out. Honestly I wouldn't bother getting GCs for places like this where there's only so much you can spend it on. I reserve giftcards for big retailers where if i get refunded or an order goes wrong I can spend it elsewhere (Officeworks, JB, Amazon, etc)

    • The same thing almost happened to me but I contacted their head office via online chat and asked them to ship it to me from one of the regional stores that still had stock, and they did so free of charge. It arrived a day or two later as well.

  • Thanks Op. Ordered Pumpkin shade delivered for $64.99 as no click and collect available anywhere around me, could not resist for this price

  • +1

Thanks OP ordered a black women's uber light jacket for my wife for our upcoming trip to Japan later in the year. Wanted to get one for me too but not sold on the pumpkin skin colour.

  • wow… I got a halo jacket and a few puffers but $56 Del is hard to beat.

  • +2

no shipping to SEQ no stock in SEQ?

  • I have an XS of this one but the smallest now is S?

    • never mind, depends on availability.

  • No sizes available now.

  • Tried to order M before and size was out. Ordered an S instead.

Now M is back in stock, is there a way to cancel the initial order and re-order?

  • +1

Ozbargain Pumpkin Spice Colour only available……..hmmmmmm

  • +3

Some other versions for the same price
    Women's hooded
    Women's vest
    Men's vest
    Men's Halo vest $90

  • Just bear in mind, I bought some clearance stuff from Bcf and they were shipped with sale price tags BELOW the already online clearance price I paid. It might be worthwhile going into store and checking it out if there's a store near you with stock

  • +4

If you don't have any luck getting stock from BCF, try Macpac or Rebel. They are all owned by the same company and will price match. I've done it a few times in the past month with Macpac at Harbour Town QLD and asking them to price match both BCF and Rebel. They do it all the time. Stocked up for our winter Japan trip.

    • Will they price match with the discount code though?

    • They won't price match clearance items

  • +1

Would've bought this if I didn't just buy https://www.adidas.com.au/essentials-down-puffer-jacket/GH45… for $94.50 a few weeks ago after waiting ages for a puffer jacket deal like this. Happy with what I got though, I prefer the look compared to the middle age dad vibe that Macpac, Kathmandu and Pentagonia puffer jackets give 😁

    • +8

You're right about the middle aged dad look. But that Adidas jacket looks like it came straight outta Bankstown

      • +1

        Yallah habib!!

    • +1

The Adidas jacket is a Gopnik piece.

  • Just ordered one for the missus. Stellar price.

I think I grabbed mine last year for $68 during a previous sale.

  • no l or xl available in Perth 😭

    • Did you come across any M?

  • cheap af. I've got one of these, light weight and warm.

I would kind of prefer a more 'flat' puffer jacket so you don't look like the Michelin man. Have seen people with them, not sure what brand.

  • +1

    Just S size

  • Will I have to move to Melbourne if I buy one?
