[VIC] Ozito 18V 2.5Ah Cordless Blower and Grass Trimmer Kit $99 @ Bunnings, Coburg

150

First time poster.

Saw this in store at Bunnings Coburg (Gaffney st) today. It's the same kit as this which was posted in 2023. Same price too. Here it is on Ozitos website here.

No delivery details etc because I cannot (as of 8:30 pm) find it listed on the Bunnings website. They had a pallet load in front of the garden power tool aisle as part of a bulk Ozito display. They normally sell individually (inc battery) for $99 each

Bought this same kit for $99 years ago and have seen it offered for the same frequently in-store.

The plastic blade grass trimmer is truly awful to use. They're not sharp and constantly flick off. Would not recommend.

  • Even at $99 it’s questionable tbh.

The trimmer is widely regarded as barely above landfill and the blower is frequently available cheap/bundled.

The trimmer can be converter to a very capable whipper-Snipper with this:

    Makes it an absolute bargain.

    • I’ve been looking at buying one of these. I don’t have a 3d printer. Do you know where I can buy it?

      • Happy to print this for you if you're in Brisbane.

    • Is this available to buy somewhere? I'm in NSW.

  • $99 seems a regular sale price. Have seen it at least 3/4 times here. Bought once and returned. Blow is okay but weak. Trim is bad as other described. But I bought a similar trim not in a package. Used for two years plus, Good annd Above average quality.

All due respect, if you buy this, you're a complete idiot. You're better off cutting your edges with a pair of scissors. Its useless as a line trimmer.

  • Got this same kit last year and think its fantastic for the price . Was really surprised with the trimmer, I do not have any grass but use it to clear weeds in the mulch on my corner block and it destroys them no probs.

  • Can't see it on the site but it's shown in the current Victorian catalogue for Father's Day

  • Also at Edwardstown, SA.
