  • I have a couple of these and think they are great. Good size, powerful enough for most basic tasks. Not too heavy for a pocket.
They don't have the fancy anduril 2 software but thats fine for most. Still enough modes and brightness levels etc.

    • Any good as an EDC?

Sometimes at work, I need to find something in the dark. I might use it for a few minutes per day, and the iPhone torch isn't cutting it.

The wuben pen torch deal that's on ?

      • Yeh I would say yes. I find the power button can feel a little small and it can take a second in the dark to roll around and feel it but otherwise no complaints.

  • What's so special about this one when this one is 2000lm for cheaper and more reviews?

Sofirn is a better known brand. Never heard of this Blukar brand.

    • it has a belt hook :)

Well, it 'says' 2000lm. Doesn't mean it is. Haven't heard of that brand other than from Amazon and haven't seen any independent reviews, so it might be. It might not be.

It is a zoomable light. Generally they seem to be a compromise between either a flood or spot light with regards to how the light out the front is presented.

Strobe and SOS seem to be in the rotation of switching modes. No. Just, no.

There's only a high and low mode. With no clue of what either is. That doesn't inspire confidence they've got a decent spread and that it's a worthwhile difference.

There's no mention of what the LED is. Brand or even colour temperature. In the olden days you'd be getting something green.

It doesn't mention the battery size, although I'm guessing it's an 18650. So it's a pretty low capacity one, which may not point to a great battery, although at least you could replace that. Maybe?

With the choices available these days, there really is no reason to be buying a torch that has strobe in the rotation of switching modes and unknown colour temperature and an unknown mode lumen output.

    Dog gonnit sold out!

  • Sc31 pro is a much better light at about $30 inc GST on AliExpress and delivery is free when you get the welcome deal .
Using multiple ali accounts you should always be able to get the single purchase deals.
Much better light for $3.40 off more or so and the perfect EDC.
