With the new iPhone being released, what do people think is the best way to get one in the few months after release? Stacking deals, etc.
My initial thought was use the current Apple promo for 10% off via GC?

Actually forget the giftcard, I need to buy it on my Amex for the extra warranty and screen insurance. Maybe officeworks price beat?

Double warranty on iPhones doesn’t really matter as Apple will cover 2 years by default anyway, Us retail stores will advertise 1 year
Apple never fund discounts on the new phones until February, so price beating will be tricky as OW no longer match costco, just have to hope that kogan or some other online store go cheaper.
Best bet would be Discounted gift cards or just getting a cheaper simDoes amex extend the warranty to 2 years or 3 years then?
2 years as they double what is advertised, perfect for samsung/google/microsoft surface etc as they offer 2y warranty

Salary sacrifice through your work or discounted Apple gift cards or both. There aren’t any discounts on newly released iPhones.

Same plan, I'll probably get Giftcards at 10% off, Literally praying that we get 15% Off Ultimategiftcards (like in 2023, I have been waiting for those eversince) so I can go to Jb and buy apple GC!

Gift cards and couldn’t use in store or couldn’t buy AppleCare with the credit unless doing some convoluted wayI was going to trade in and upgrade but I don’t think the one hair line crack on the back glass will make it eligible for trade in so probably have to do private sale
But gift cards wise seems like 10% is best bets on the ultimate gift cards?

so If it's still working you can get 10% off ultimate giftcards, change them to apple gc and buy iphone with it, also I recommend you to redeem the Giftcards quickly onto your apple id, regarding the applecare+ you can buy it with giftcards, you just have to go to apple store to do it.(It was working until last year atleast)
I am in the same boat as you, planning to buy GCs to get new iphone, do ping this, if you find something betterquick question re the convert of ultimate gift cards, do you mean use them in JB Hifi (which sounds like only some stores allow) and buy apple cards with them ?
