The 750ml is a great size for storing/proofing individual 12-13" pizza doughs.

I dropped one accidentally once when taking it out of the dishwasher, I’m still bloody finding glass slivers in the kitchen . Other than that, pretty good little containers.

I had heaps of the 365 but have since gotten rid of them all for this reason. Not just the full smash but when you knock them a small sliver cracks off and sometimes is impossible to find. Couldn't risk it with babies crawling around. Switch to Glasslock as they are tempered safety glass.

      • Thank you both! I've had these for years and I'm super cautious of breakages but some things just break differently and I absolutely hate finding glass after the cleanup… Getting Glasslock now, thanks!

I'll also add that these containers have changed in recent years. I'm sure they used to be quite a bit thicker and the lip was less distinct but now they seem much more fragile and that lip seems like it's absolutely going to cop a chip. I was disappointed when I last when there for a few

        • Do you have a good deal on glass lock?

          • @Save Medicare: I watched for a while. It's a product that is always on sale. Wasn't really much price movement over a few months so just pulled the trigger from their au site.

      • Switch to Glasslock as they are tempered safety glass.

i thought that 365+ were also, or maybe only some items - have they changed from originally?

        • There is no mention of that on their site and they are def not from the ones I have purchased over the years.

You should see the Bundaberg ginger beer bottles. They do the same.

We decided to just buy 10 x 1l glass and a some spare lids and never worry about this stuff ever again. Good deal.

    Aw man, plastic lids :(

    • +3

I take the lids off when microwaving. If plastic isn’t heated takes a lot. of the potential micro plastic and other crap away.

    • +1

These also have bamboo lid options but they cost more and don't lock close. They still have a silicon or plastic seal too.

  • Why don't they ship the 600ml glass one

  • +5

won't ship to me for less than $19 delivery even after $50 worth of the 1L glass containers in my cart (14).

But if I make it 30 containers good news, delivery becomes $599.

  • Got some of these last last visit. Sitting on the shelves still. I think it's good price for glass containers.

  • +7

I do find they also chip easier than other glass brands. But otherwise price wise its good value

    • Bought the 3.1L one last Friday. It cracked yesterday. Lasted 1 use in just 3 days. Seems a bit more fragile and lower quality. Lucky it was cheap. I have 5 more so see how the rest goes.

      • Curious as to whether you can talk to Ikea and get compensation?
I'm not about money, but I dont appreciate they produce such low quality….

  • I've always used the Kmart ones, how do these compare?

    • +2

I think the Kmart ones are garbage, their lids needs to fit exactly on or else it doesn't close properly.

      IKEA one fits better

  • We use the glass ones almost exclusively, and both the containers and snap on lids have held up very well. Great value imo.

  • Is pyrex better? Consider it is thinner so its more save spacing?
