BEWARE Loveitup.com.au

I bought some stuff from loveitup.com.au about a year ago. It a month to arrive and support was poor to say the least. Also they have an affiliate program which I used to get some credit with them however every deal they have states that this deal can't be used with credit.

I give each retailer an individual email address (i.e [email protected]) so I can see where spam comes from. Now I am starting to get spam from Australian companies (i.e whywaitaustralia.com) with no unsubscribe links.

This makes me mad. Very mad.

Who can I report these guys to? They caused me grief I want to do the same to them. Given the spam is coming from Australia hopefully I can do something about it.

Yes I also posted this on whirlpool.

  • fair trading nsw is worse than useless as they make it hard to report [online] then reply and demand you meet their deadlines for queries they have or they will cancel your complaint! then if they ring you they tell you to go to the CTTT. why waste time? go to the CTTT, pay the fee and ask for it and your damages from CTTT. they know the law. fair trading staff admit they do not know the law. they tell you to get legal advice on everything!
consumer law is a joke. liberal ministers who cut public services and have bias to businesses already bias against justice even if they have good intentions. labour ministers are worse as they bend over backwards not to be seen to be threats to business else tony abbot will be on them like a bloodhound.

  • What you've described is clearly in breach of the Australian Spam Act 2003, this is administered by ACMA. Have a look at their website http://www.acma.gov.au/WEB/STANDARD/pc=PC_310321 (penalties have recently increased).

You can report it directly to ACMA
