Equal cheapest price in about ~10 months according to the camels. What sealed the deal for me was an additional offer (targeted I assume) for $15 off $100, plus the Visa offer - bringing it down to $77 once I added a cheap item to get the total over $100. Sorry to waffle on…..

    I would have thought the vertical design means you always get the right amount of mixture. And is space saving.

  I recommend the vertical one, less mess and easier to be consistent than a regular waffle maker.

    This post has inspired me to buy the $15 Kmart waffle maker. If I use it enough I might consider a flash one in the future

      We now have one with plates you can take out to wash, was on here some years ago, soooooo much better then the $15 kmart one we had originally.

  This Sunbeam one also has a countdown timer that starts automatically for your dialed in "done-ness". I appreciate it as don't have to pay too much attention to it.

  I have this one as well, it's great. Only downside is that some waffle types (especially the keto ones) require a thick batter and that doesn't always move fast enough down the top slot. But you can add a touch more liquid to those to improve the flow.
  Otherwise, it makes great waffles and packs away neatly.
