The old Jonnie Green was quite lovely

      • is the new one not?

        • Definitely nowhere near as good. Johnny black is the best value for money if you're buying Johnny Walker.

I used to buy the green a long time ago, it was a wonderful blend. I am assuming the mix is Talisker, Linkwood, Cragganmore, and Caol Ila still. I haven't revisited the green in a while as i have been buying ,more cask strength single malts from independent bottlers. I often buy from the Whisky List or Auction sites. I digress sorry - It is probably still the same age statements and blend mix as before, but I would take a guess the flavour profile is different (but still keeping to a core recipe)

      • I still got 1L old geen, i hopes it doesnt go expire lol

Every month / fortnightly - tip it upside down to wet the cork, so it doesn't completely dry out and disintergrate when you open it.

Just to avoid the pain when you finally open it on a special occasion… If it does happens you can still use a coffee filter to get rid of the crap and decant into another bottle. But that's hassle on what would be a special day.
