Hisense Vs Haier Washing Machine from Homeclearance

Two questions:

a. Both these have the same 4.5 star rating. Which one should I buy?
Haier 7.5kg Front Load Washing Machine HWF75AW3 - $409
Hisense 7.5kg Series 3 Front Load Washing Machine HWFS7514S - $375

b. Both have these missing parts. Is that going to be an issue?
4 x Transit bolts. Anti slip pads. 4 x Noise reduction pads.

Thanks!

At this price point, be happy it lasts 2-3 years.

Warranty is the main concern I would say too

Well they're both made in the same city. Hisense has a big luxury shopping mall there. Hope this helps.

Try to find the one with the best warranty. Not associated but Chiq has 3+2 year warranty if you register online.

  • I'd buy the HiSense.

Because my last two washing machines were from Haier. The first one I only got a reasonable life out of because I invoked the statutory warranty when something broke. The second wasn't a warranty repair, a mouse got into it and chewed a cable, and they wanted to charge me more than the cost of another whole new identical washing machine to supply and install that single part.

  • I had a Haier clothes dryer which barely lasted 6 months of being used 1-2 times per week before it started making squeaking noises like a cat being tortured. I would never use their products again even if you paid me $409.

    b. Both have these missing parts. Is that going to be an issue?
    4 x Transit bolts.

My understanding was the bolts are there to stop the drum moving during transit and damaging the machine. Personally I wouldn't buy one without them.

    • I wouldn't have an issue buying without transport bolts, so long as I did/supervised the move

  • I also noticed that both start with "H"

    • Do all washing machine names start with a “H”?

      • google "how do you say the letter h in Australia", and you find that it doesn't start with an h.

So presumably the right way to pronounce those companies names are aier and isense.

        • And when something breaks will it be a assle and eadache.

  • My Haier has been good . 6 years old. Can’t complain.

Missing transit bolts are not an issue. I’ve moved washing machines literally hundreds of times with out them. (I used to repair washing machines)

    • Which brand did you find you repaired the most and the least
