Unexpected price drop, grabbed! "Limited time deal, 15% Off", thanks to Camel's alert.

I had Kobo Libra H2O, but it got vertical line on the screen after I dropped it from bedside table. It was in the case too!
I tried to fix it and destroyed the thing in the process. These things glued hard :)
I was not impressed by how fragile Kobo was, so trying Amazon now.

  I can’t go back to reading after audio books. Maybe good for text books/studying? Mangas are better on an iPad mini.

    It's good for reading lol. I've got one of these and I've read 5 books in a few months after not reading for years.

      I’m in no ways saying that it isn’t, only stating that reading as an activity has been superseded in a lot of cases. Have you been listening to audiobooks? Give it a go and report back :)

        I have no interest in Audiobooks. Listening to random crap in the background. Whilst doing 3 things at once because I have ADHD is the whole reason I started reading again. It's purposefully quiet. Saying something like reading has been superseded implies that you need to be efficient 24/7 or some shit which is lame.

    I'm still using an ancient paperwhite, the thing is bulletproof. I'd probably spring for the signature edition for the extra storage if upgrading though.

      Yep, calibre worked fine. I did not even setup wifi or amazon account on kindle, just usb to Mac, Calibre detected it and in Calibre "send to device"

    Look into the Colorsoft versions… specs (on Amazon's item description) say they support epub (but oddly, no longer mobi)

  Just bought on 26 and got delivered today. I am thinking about returning it and use the refunding balance to get a new one, the only problem is it takes a long while to get the refund

    Not really once you drop it to post office they process right away especially if you choose refund to amazon credit.

      that's a relief, the refund will go into my balance tho, credits don't get extra 15% off from topcashback
