Is This The Best Price for a Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra 256GB

So, I've got it down to $1,396 for a S25 Ultra 256GB + a free case via Samsung Edu store plus first time purchase 5% discount plus 5% loyalty discount.

Is this the best I'll have for the next month, or would there be any better discounts coming up?

Thanks to OzBargain, I found this massive discount, but I'm just confused since the last phone I bought was a s21FE, I haven't upgraded in ages and it's a large spend.

Check the Ozbargain deals history for this specific phone, seems like a pretty good deal for the Ultra imho.

    4.5 months for S26

    • My current phone is breaking apart, you reckon its a good idea to get the s25U and when S26 comes out do a trade in for it?

      • Yes, even if it is broken when the new S26 is released there is usually a trade-in bonus $$$

  • i think with the JB Hi-Fi voucher repayments increased (i got one in their last deal for about $100 less than what you've quoted above) this is about as low as its going to get unless you are willing to wait for the S26 Pre-order deals in Jan. You can also look at trading in your S21FE, seems like their trade in prices are better than most. If you're travelling overseas look into TRS as well.

    • Whats the JB voucher repayments (Im still learning the ozbargain methods), how did you get it for $100 less (even if it doesn't work, just wanna know)? The s26 is a while away and my current phone is breaking apart so trade in wont be much. Im from a country that has the cheapest phone market, but unfortunately not travelling this year.

No, that's a rediculous amount of money for a mobile telephone. I'd be constantly worried about it being damaged, lost or stolen.

  • This might be a weird one but it might be worth seeing how much your phone will trade in for. I ordered a base S25 last night because they had things going at the moment for trade ins (for my current S23) worth an extra ~$200 for some eligible phones. As long as your phone isn't worth $0 for trade in, it'll let you trade it in for quite a bit more.

Also in a funny turn of events, I had a look at marketplace and found people selling S23 for less than the price of trade in. I mean, the condition may have not been perfect, but it might be worth checking just in case. If your current phone is too damaged/ineligible, maybe there's a cheap phone you could get second hand that has the extra $200 trade in bonus that you could to use as a trade in to save a bit more money on it? It might be a pain if you need it quickly but it could potentially be an option?

That's a great idea; I'm going to try that later today, thanks. I also went to the Samsung store, and they said they have a really good deal coming up in 2 days; I might wait to see it before purchasing, depending on which offer is better.

  • Tempted too, can someone remind me how much the S25U was on release with all the stacked codes, was it like $1.2K?
