First time coffee machine buyer and after doing the rounds decided to pull the trigger on one of these. So far very impressed. Should pay for itself in a few months.

Currently this is the cheapest on market and shipped via Delonghi eBay store (mixed reviews).

If buying on eBay be sure to use gift cards for another 3% off.

I attempted a price match at JB and was rejected. To my surprise I popped into hardly normal tonight as they were the only local retailer with stock and my plan was to see it in person then order on eBay however they were able to price match after asking the boss and getting “vendor funding”. So I walked out with the machine at $1267 (less Harvey Norman gift card discounts). YMMV.

There is a cheaper model also available which doesn’t have wifi but is pretty much the same (online specs are a bit inconsistent about exactly the difference).

  I have this machine too as had fomo about the smart wifi control and cold brew. I actually don’t even use the functions in the end.

  Great machine though. Nothing like starting the day with 3 x double espressos.

  Great machine. Though I am strongly advising you deploy a heap of counter measures to deter roaches from setting up home inside this one.
  Despite all the annual sprays and baits you name it, the little f****kers got inside it and destroyed enough to cause considerable out of warranty damage.

  Apparently its really commmon talking to the repairers.

  A couple of friends have similar machines to this and I find that the coffee comes out only warm and not hot. Read many other reviews of these sorts of automatic machines and most of the complaints were the same. They had to put the just made coffee in the microwave as it didn't come hot enough. There's also no way to make it hotter.
  Does anyone with this machine or similar, have that issue?

    I have this machine but I don't have this problem. I microwave my milk bc I don't like the foam so maybe that's why it's hot

        Probably? Never tried. I did make a flat white before and it was hot for me but I'm not into very hot coffee. Did you try the setting on the machine to make it hotter?

          @pizzacracker: I didn't buy one as all the reviews stated the coffee comes out warm.

  Doesn't this have the same internals as a magnifica Evo?

  If so, all those extra features are gimmicky
