Terms and conditions

This promotion is open to members who have successfully activated the bonus offer within their Cashrewards 'For You' page ("Eligible Entrants"). To qualify for the $5 bonus, Eligible Entrants must shop online at eBay, Temu or AliExpress using a Cashrewards platform between 29 August 12am AEST to 31 August 11:59pm AEST 2025 with a minimum spend of $20 (including GST, but excluding delivery and other fees) on a single eligible purchase ("Qualifying Purchase"). A Qualifying Purchase excludes the purchase of ineligible items as set out in the relevant store's special terms (eBay,Temu,AliExpress;) or items with a 0% cashback rate at the time of purchase. Eligible Entrants may track the progress of the bonus at any time on the 'For You' page in the Cashrewards website or app. Bonus will only appear under 'My Rewards', and be paid into the Eligible Entrant's Cashrewards account, after the associated Qualifying Purchase is approved by the store. Cashrewards Terms of Use apply to the use of the Cashrewards platform and any associated purchase. Bonus is limited to one per Cashrewards account and is over and above the advertised store cashback rates which still apply to the purchase. Additional purchases do not qualify for additional bonuses. Fraudulent or other activity in violation of the Cashrewards Terms of Use will result in rewards being forfeited and accounts closed.

    voted + because the deal itself is good but the tracking is terrible. Half of my last few transactions never tracked with CR. I gave up on wasting my time to report missing cashback and chasing their support. It would be practical to do it if the transactions are missed occasionally, but its more common issue these days. I would rather use coupon codes with less value.

    Will try this promotion though.

        I use both time to time. Don’t see one better than the other. Usually I read the CR terms to check if mobile app is eligible for cashback.

          When they say mobile app isn't eligible for cashback they dont mean the cashrewards app, they mean the retailer's app. Its because a lot of retailer websites will prompt you to change to their app if they detect you have their site open on a mobile browser & if you click yes it takes you out of the cashrewards app. BWS for example is bad for this.

      This. Then when you file a missing cashback ticket they fob you off with the "because you used a coupon" script. Ignoring the fact that coupons can void a cashback but do not cause them to not track, also that Aliexpress cashbacks aren't affected by coupons.

    Haven't tried that one myself so wondering how reliable it is tracking wise given the previous comments.

    Can someone tell me if this bonus shows up on their for you once activated? Mine always used to show up as 'CR promotional bonus' but not for the latest one. Support said itll be approved once my transaction is approved but i wouldnt remember 3 months later that i had a bonus.

    So i made 2 items in a single transaction on ebay, and it just tracked at 2 separate transactions.
    Does anyone know if this will be a problem for the bonus?

      From my recollection, the status changes to pending after an order at the relevant store has been tracked, and it will remain that way for weeks/months until the tracked order has been confirmed.

        OK, I clicked the "Activate now" link in my email, now said pending approval. Seem this kind of promo wasn't the same like other without particular stores.

      Mine was showing "ACTIVE".
      I made a purchase on ebay ($50 at 8pm last night) which tracked properly (at 3am).
      Now it is just showing "ENDED".
      :(
      Hopefully the status will correct itself.

          Yep, checked it again like that (clicked on link) and it's still "ENDED". I've only got one account, and it shows that the ebay purchase was tracked on 31 Aug. In the past, I think the bonus amounts always showed up straight away in the "My Rewards/Reward activity" section too, but it's not there for this one.

            "I looked up your Cashrewards account and can see that the AliExpress transaction that you made on 30 August 2025 has tracked and is marked pending. Our system also indicates that you have activated the $5 bonus offer and this should also show on your For You page. "

            If yours didn't show on For You Page, you better submit a help request.

      I've kept the emails so I can chase them up.. I submitted a ticket for this one the other day because it was listed as 'ended', not 'pending'…

      And there's also the $3 Amazon one from the 8th of July that hasn't paid out yet, I'm keeping an eye out for that…

          I don't think they can really dodge it, they advertised a promotion, we met the requirements, they're legally required to follow through…

          If ANZ decide to screw a heap of people over it wont be very good PR for them, lol…

                @cheapass88: Same here. $5 bonus never showed up. Emailed their support on the 8th and they responded that they are reviewing it. The Ebay purchase is now APPROVED, but still no sign of the $5 bonus.

    Despite the offer saying GST is included, the bonus didnt trigger as it registered the pre-gst price, so it went to my ended and has now disappeared off the page. Did anyone else have a GST issue?

      I placed a $29aud Ali order, all the items tracked on CR for a $17.20usd total (about $26aud), but this promotion was listed as 'Ended' rather than 'Pending', so something iffy has has happened…

        Mine was ebay, $21ish but $18.99 tracked (pre gst) and yup was also in ended. Support said theyll fix it but now the For you page is wiped.
