  Turns out I can upgrade my Bankwest complimentary insurance for much cheaper. Looks to be comparable if not better on some aspects.

  I got $36 with AusPost and $70 Insure and Go using HACKS10.
  
  Essentials / lowest option for both.
  
  Auspost included covid 19 cover, insure and go did not.
  
  11 day trip to NZ.

I've used Aust Post insurance in the past - $0 excess, paid every claim. The $0 excess meant that I claimed trivial things which I normally wouldn't, like a small doctors visit + meds overseas, or damaged suitcase. I even lost my kindle on the way home which was a few years old and they still paid $50 or something, which is better than nothing.
