  • I am certain there are a lot of buyers remorse out there.

Pricing as such, how would the tradition manufacturers survive?

The Good Guys have now Price Beat this price - $1523

Don't bother with this BS price "beat" from JB group. If they are indeed wanting your business, be the price leader to start with, than a pity $10.

On a side note, AO's delivery service is second to none.

    • Good if you want to C&C, but their delivery show for me as $59. So for me $1533 + $40 for delivery tomorrow was the best price….for today.

      • Free delivery if you pick a day next week.

  • How does this one compare to Samsung 75" Q7F QLED 4K Smart TV? Looks like that one is on sale too for $1395. Any thoughts?

The Samsung Tizen interface is old and junk. Google TV is heaps better. The picture on this is so much better than the Samsung.

      Sammy is edge lit…

      • It's Direct-Lit per my link above.

        • Apologies, no local dimming, however given this, it may as well be edge lit…

  • Is a refresh rate of 120 Hz a deal-breaker for watching sport? I was recommended a refresh rate of 200 Hz for sport. Constructive comments, anyone?

    • +5

You don't need any fancy refresh rate to be watching sport, the most it's being broadcast in is 60fps from certain providers, which all modern TVs are capable of, standard. Anyone spruiking a TV that has a 200hz display is lying, this is all achieved with artificial "Smoothing technology" that is not the same as a genuine high refresh rate display. Smoothing technology is the devil, we hate it.

120hz displays are beneficial for gaming, as well as less jitters and judders in 24fps playbacks that you'll often see in panning scenes for instance, as it's a clean multiple of 24. Animations on a 120hz display will also look a lot smoother in menu/UI navigation.

    • The 200hz is a marketing lie, in the end it’s just 100hz like most TVs

Thank you to the Uyghurs for the cheap TV

At this pace, they will pay us to buy these in one year.

  • I suggest to go all the way and get the C8K.

    • Why?

      • Because we got it and very impressed and blown away with its performance. It is what they claimed it is. Their specs are better that the big players out there and so much cheaper. We managed to get it less than $1.5K for the 65 inches when they had promotion. Better than the Samsung that we have. Check out their website.

"because we bought a 65 inch c8k and we love it. Isn't that enough?"

      • Higher peak brightness and more dimmable zones.

    • I had the same view, but after watching a bunch of comparison videos (Stop the FOMO on YT gets super detailed) I went with the C7k as there seemed to be little difference unless you’re watching 2000+ nit HDR content. Got mine this week and it’s awesome for the price and great in my light lounge. Coming from an older LG B8 OLED I’m super impressed with how good the backs are and love the brightness.
