To buy 1 BTC using your ATMs it is $202146.59. The current price of 1 BTC is $170,682.76. That's a 15%+ spread, before even considering the trade fee you are providing a 50% discount on.

I get it's expensive to operate ATMs, but I'll keep sticking to reputable exchanges to get more BTC for my $.

    • its not 50% either

    • yea I was about to say the same. I can understand these btc atm are doing the flip on us. but is no KYC required the only advantage to use them?

      • +1

They generally have KYC either directly or indirectly (you need a mobile number).

The sooner all these crypto scams gone the better it is for society!

  • Out of curiosity, could you point out which locations and cryptos you have ATM's with the lowest fees? I've used you guys before and I'm happy with the service, but of course it's helpful not to be paying an arm and a leg in fees.

Also, to anyone bagging these Crypto ATM's, say what you want about the fees, but it's a great benefit to be seeing a huge range of Crypto ATM's across the city, would be great to know what the cheapest ATM is.

All our sites are listed on www.coinatmradar.com (along with other operators) If you pick a site it has the fee details updated live. On the right you can sort by 'Best Buy'. You can see the cheapest fees listed.

  • There is a machine at Freechoice Chapel St in Melbourne - https://coinatmradar.com/bitcoin_atm/60521/bitcoin-atm-gener… and the current rate is $184799.85. The current price of 1 BTC is $170,682.76. That is an 8% spread, before even considering the trade fee we are providing a 50% discount on. So 4% to buy with cash, without your bank blocking your account or denying you a home loan because you invest in crypto.

There are other cheaper ways, yes. But none as convenient, quick and private as an ATM. There are discounted locations all across Australia. Check fees at www.coinatmradar.com.

How is it private if you KYC?

      • We are required to perform KYC to operate. I agree with your concerns.

      • -1

It's not. There is nothing private about using a Bitcoin ATM in a public location after handing over your KYC information to buy a coin which provides only pseudonymity.
