Almost finished all FTL ships on hard. It's very good.
It's part of Netflix sub only on Android. Bloody annoying
FTL is a steal at that price. It's a real-time strategy game (although you can - and should - pause it) in which you guide a spaceship across a galaxy. You don't control it directly, instead you assign crew to different rooms and they figure out what to do. If it's the engine room, they'll man the engines; if it's broken they'll repair it, if it's on fire they'll put it out etc. You have limited resources, including power, so part of the game is figuring out what systems you can shut down and redirect the power to shields/weapons/life support etc. The same with money - you can buy weapons or upgrade your ship's systems, and often you won't have enough money to do both. The game has a clear end, too - so youve got a limited amount of time to build up your ship.
It was a complete game when it came out, then they released a free DLC that added new species of aliens, new ships etc.; and finally there's a fan-made "Multiverse" mod that adds a ton of new content - so there's heaps of replayability.
FTL is such a great game!
I uninstalled it to stop myself playing so much.
😂This is one of the best deals possible, but hard to say who it is for at this point. I can't really imagine anyone not having played both to absolute death by now.
