Will wait till sub $500 still not worth it

To be honest, with this colour (orange) it should be sub-$500 clearance. The customer base using this colour is quite limiting.

  • Whilst these are great headphones, I'm just not sure they can ask XM6 money for them.

    • +2

Objectively speaking, these headphones are at par if not, slightly better than XM6's across most aspects. XM6's edges out slightly with mic quality and noise isolation (thanks to the ear cup design), but they're neck on neck. Also, if you're an iPhone user, these are the clear winner as the XM6 only supports hi-res codecs on Android devices.

      Source 1, Source 2

      • Hi-res doesn't matter if your music comes from 320 kbps Spotify streams or even worse, YouTube Music.

        • If you're spending this kind of $$$ on headphones, I'd hazard a guess and say sound quality would be a factor when people decide between two similarly priced headphones.

          • @d3al: My point is most people will not get the additional benefit of the hi-res Bluetooth codecs when the majority of people will use a music source that is not hi-res. To get the benefit of hi-res, everything in the chain must support it.

      • Not according RTINGS.

  • Does this comparable to Sony ones?
