Flexispot QS2 Sit & Stand Desk $279.99 (RRP $499.99) Delivered @ FlexiSpotAU

840

I was looking for a sit-stand desk as an early birthday present and ended up finding a great deal on the Flexispot website. The 140cm wide desk is $279 delivered, while the 160cm wide desk is $299 delivered. The desktop comes in two pieces with a seam in the center, but that shouldn’t be an issue, especially since many people will use this as desktop setup.

It comes with dual motors, a 10 year warranty & can hold up to 80kg.

It’s also available on Amazon if you prefer to purchase it there.

Additionally, if you want to add on additional accessories such as a cable management mount, you get a bonus $30 if you subscribe should you choose to do so.

3/9/25 @ 8:40pm, seems like there is still some stock remaining.

I got the E7 about a year ago. Best desk I've ever owned. Only downside is the lack of USB-C port on the controller. Apart from that I couldn't be happier with my experience with them.

    • Split top design is more an aesthetic concern for me, the steel frames below cover every side so I don't think it will be an issue.

    Why four legs?

    • +5

Conventional stand/sit desks suffer from major wobbling at standing heights. The only solution to this is 4 legged desks.

They were running a promo on eBay to include cable racks and an on desk power outlet, probably $100 in value that I factored into my decision.

Shipment came but no bonus items, I contacted them and they wanted receipts and proof of my purchase which was weird because I just ordered it.

In the end they said there were no bonus items and the listing was a mistake and offered $30 compensation. I said this was nowhere near value and if they could link me to somewhere to buy these items for $30 I would accept, which obviously they couldn't.

They were very firm on this being the maximum 'management' would allow so I dropped them a negative review. Magically compensation were no longer an issue if I removed the review but I told them to stick it and left it up.

This was after weeks of back and forth over such a simple thing, I suspect they were trying to burn the clock beyond review period.

  • ooo been wanting a 4 leg unit

Is there any disadvantages to having the split/sliced desktop? Is it less sturdy?

    • +4

Table tops are usually mounted to the base so stability would not be an issue because it has an adequate frame. I don’t have one at home, but my work desk has a split on one side and crumbs and other shit gets stuck in the crack so to speak.

If you don’t spill anything at your desk and don’t eat at your desk, no problems

      • +2

I agree, crumbs stuck in your crack is no good.

Oh, wait…we're talking about desks, right?

  • Just purchased my Artiss standing desk last week, which some legend highly recommended on here.

Very happy with it! Great build quality, smooth corners, feels solid as

  • On a similar note. I've got standing desk legs but the old bunnings door I've been using as a desk is running it's course. Any recommendations on where to get a nice wooden desk top from? located in Brisbane. TIA

    • +1

Look at site like Deskup that sell desk top on it own. Or even check out a benchtop from Bunnings or even your local cabinet maker.

When I bought my desk frame I went to Officeworks and found their own brand of sit/stand desks comes in two boxes. I asked if you could buy the top separately, and when they scanned the barcode it came up with $80 (1500mm x 700mm). That's an option. The predrilled holes were all wrong and I had to drill my own, but that wasn't hard.

Alternatively, you could try IKEA for the same thing, or buy one of their el-cheapo desks or tables and just use the top from it. The latter option might have the same problem as your current door, though, in that they'll be hollow-core with cellulose 'egg carton' style innards for support and likely to only last as long.

I have four monitors. I wish they had a bigger size like 200 cm.

  • Got the e7pro bamboo. Best desk I have ever owned.

  • Most styles now sold out.. I pulled the trigger.

    • on which one ?

      • the smaller one in white/timber.

when i ordered last night it was either that, or the larger size in full white - which i didnt like.

        all gone now, it seems.

  • FML why is their smallest size 120 x 60 rather than 120 x 75?
60 is so thin it is hard to store anything on the desk.

  • I've been advised via the Amazon seller that the warranty on the desk is only 3 years. Not 10, not 5, but only 3 years.

    • Hmmm that interesting because on flexispot website it says that it's 10.

      • And on ebay it says 15!
