        He didn’t share the exact hack. My guess is he is hitting the remaining credit api and there is no rate limiting so probably checks the card number against the pin number which is between 1-9999. And if it returns a value he knows its the correct pin.
        That’s my best guess anyway, because he said it’s still not fixed so it must been on their end.

        basically theres a vunerability on one of the website pages that lets you checks GC balances, it doesnt require 2FA or captcha, you can basically write a simple script that checks the pin againts the GC like a 1000 times a minute until it cracks it. Then what Im guessing is that once its cracked, the program will keep checking a the balance until someone buys one and a balance appears

        The GM of TCN reached out to him, apologised and refunded him, but the site still has the vunerablity.

They make millions of this product and if they can bully the victim into giving up trying to get their money back why bother? Look at the hoops and lame responses that Simon got from TCN… Stat Dec, Statement to AFP what BS

            But hopefully with enough exposure it actually might hit where it hurts

    Bought some of these of sale before. Gotta say its a real struggle to find any value at mitre 10 compared to bunnings.

      In Tasmania pellets for heating at Mitre 10 are great quality at a great price. This makes them even better value.
