Haven't switched for at least 6 months so figure it was time. Valid for the next three days.

  • New Gas & Electricity Signups - $160
  • New Electricity Signups - $100

  • Cashback is only eligible for new customers of Compare Electricity and Gas only. This includes existing customers moving into new premises.

  • Direct sign-ups via Econnex.com.au, sign-ups on behalf of other individuals or new connections (eg; no meter installed) are ineligible for Cashback.

      However, this already is an Econnex deal, just not as boosted as it can be.

    for those in SE Qld looking for good rates having shopped around anyone who is on single rate of use I'm currently able to get these rates with Globird Energy
    $0.98164 Daily Charge (inc GST) pay on time
    $ 0.25821Anytime Anytime Usage - First 15.00 kWh/Day ($/kWh) pay on time
    0.29022 Anytime Usage - Balance ($/kWh)
    these are likely lower than an online quote & cheaper than any other provider I've found

    It's hard to get tracked. I didn't get mine tracked in May and it didn't even show up in the click history. Hard to raise the ticket.

    I've never gotten any cashback from Econnex from the last promotion they had back in March/April and their website is probably one of the least UX friendly to compare energy cost (something supposed to be relatively simple to do) and i am even more confused by looking at their comparison then comparing the cost manually side by side.

    At this point, from my experience, they are just as bad as any booking website that tries their very best to confuse you rather than really getting you a good deal…
