    Nah, I would wait for Econnex deal or go for Powershop $300 in sign-up credits

      I am due for a switch. Where is the econnex deal when you need it! lol
      I somehow always end up with the wrong timing of those deals with my time-to-switch.

      • @nocure any predictions/idea on when the next econnex deal would be coming? ;)

        • +1

          Should be one in September, fingers crossed.

          • @nocure: approx date pls

            • +1

              @sun sunny: Saturday 6th ~$320

              • @nismo: @polarq ^

              • @nismo: It's the same offer $100 Cashback for Electricity, $60 Cashback for Gas and $160 Cashback for Gas & Electricity…If you add up everything, then the total is $320

    • +1

      Do you have any insight how to be eligible for signup credits again? Is there an exclusionary period or is it one and done?

  • +2

    Wait until they do $320 which they do all the time

      This makes much more sense than the first comment…

      It says

      wait for Econnex deal

      However, this already is an Econnex deal, just not as boosted as it can be.

  • for those in SE Qld looking for good rates having shopped around anyone who is on single rate of use I'm currently able to get these rates with Globird Energy
    $0.98164 Daily Charge (inc GST) pay on time
    $ 0.25821Anytime Anytime Usage - First 15.00 kWh/Day ($/kWh) pay on time
    0.29022 Anytime Usage - Balance ($/kWh)
    these are likely lower than an online quote & cheaper than any other provider I've found

    • How are you getting this price? Just call them vs an online quote?

    • I'm interested in getting these rates, Alinta are about to start shafting me from next month

    • how on earth did you get those rates.

      • yes very happy I must admit, DM me if you want details

  • It's hard to get tracked. I didn't get mine tracked in May and it didn't even show up in the click history. Hard to raise the ticket.

  • I've never gotten any cashback from Econnex from the last promotion they had back in March/April and their website is probably one of the least UX friendly to compare energy cost (something supposed to be relatively simple to do) and i am even more confused by looking at their comparison then comparing the cost manually side by side.

    At this point, from my experience, they are just as bad as any booking website that tries their very best to confuse you rather than really getting you a good deal…

    Pass….

      I have signed up 4 times with Econnex. Always got them.
