I purchased a month ago when there were a few DigiDirect / Camera Electronic deals on Z5 II. After selling the lens, total cost for the new body was ~<$2,000.
Nikon kit looks to be way better value… however seems like prices are going up across the board at the moment so its hard to say if waiting will yield better deals.
a7v should be released soon, hopefully dragging second hand prices down
Sony only does black Friday deals now - wait for this Nov and bet there will be a better deal then this.
Quite a few brands seem to be increasing their prices so that the disparity between US and our prices. Just look at the recent increase of Sony's playstation products. Won't be surprised if the discounts won't be as good this year.
