Posting a 55Inch TV

Hi All,

I've been dying to buy a 55 samsung or LG, problem is I am living in Alice Springs NT for the next 12-18 months and drive a small Ford Fiesta, when I leave I am trying to figure out how I would get it to my next destination……Aus post wont take boxes larger than L:105cm and 20kg or something….so I'm wondering what the best/cheapest method would be to get it from Alice->Melbourne or another capital city.

Box Size: 1,349 x 873 x 259mm
Weight: 25.4kg

or similar values this is for the es8000

    I've used couriercosts.com.au before to get an idea of costs for shipping. Feeding in your sizing and destination info gives a best result of just under $250.00 without insurance. Not cheap!

      thats a great site thank you! 250 is what i was expecting i just didnt know how to find a company that would do it!

      I guess I will try and sell it in Alice and if it's more than 250 loss ill just courier it!

    Hi there I used to live in Alice Springs. They do have a big Harvey Norman and Retravision up there . I do know you can bargain with them. Also online stores generally deliver up there for around $30-$80 depending . So it might be worth seeing first off if u can price match at one of the stores first or checking online and seeing how much delivery is up there.

    Good luck there it's a fun town ! Make sure u check out "Annie's Place" for a cheap feed and cool place to relax. :)

      All good advice, but i think he's doing it the reverse way.. Buy up there, get back home..

      I had to move a couple years ago. Ended up selling my tv, and bought another where I moved to.
