Transfer credit card points by 30 September to get bonus 10% Asia Miles points, registration of promotions required to join the campaign

Cathay Asia miles are known to be much easier than Qantas and Virgin in rewards ticket redemption, especially now both airlines have devalued their reward points

eg.
HKG to MEL - Cathay business class requires 58000 asia miles + tax
HKG to MEL - Qantas business class requires 82100 QFF + tax

Bonus points will be awards 8-10weeks after 30 September 2025

    Heard a rumour the points exchange to 4 partner programs is getting devalued on Dec 1 - probably trying to get ahead of that

    Did a transfer after the Sep 1, but saw this promo and registered after transfer…Hope still get the bonus…Should meet the T&C.

    Enticing offer, until I found out there's no free family pooling or family transfers in Cathay like Velocity does. Cathay charges USD170 for transfer of the first 10,000 points and USD140 for subsequent 5,000 point blocks.
