And certainly don’t buy them to run in unless you love pain.
Recently got a pair to try at dirt-cheap price, the low-end Adidas stuff really is poor quality, I'm using to do short-medium walks maybe the odd run just to throw in my rotation.
Won't be buying Adidas again unless it's Adizero.
Running shoes is one thing worth spending money for quality.
Also don’t buy to wear them casually. I got a pair in the last deal and they look like casual school shoes.
Have a pair of these, very comfortable for casual wear, however possibly the least waterproof pair of runners/sneakers I’ve ever owned
How has the sole held up? Doesn't look like there's much tread there
No durability issues yet, but yes minimal tread. Not an ‘off-road’ shoe.
Good ventilation for summer though.
Rubbish shoes even for walking. There is way too much cushioning in the heel which puts more pressure on the ball of your foot where coincidentally there is less cushioning.
Since this is bad, which budget running shoes would be better?
If you will be using it for 'running', you have to step up to Adizero line, of which Adizero SL2 is the cheapest in the range. Well worth it. A bit over $100. Don't take my word for it, just search for reviews.
Please please don't buy anything other than Adizero (SL, SL2, Boston 12) under $120. If you can stretch budget (Boston 13, Takumi Sen, Evo SL) if you take running seriously.
I’ve picked up a few pairs of SLs at the Adidas outlet for <$75, good bang for buck, but would still rather stalk the Nike outlet when there’s an extra discount or the Running Warehouse online sales.
These shoes are not bad. I'm on my 4th pair of these. Very happy with them and will keep buying. They go for around $40 delivered during Adidas outlet sales after cashback - a bargain!
Puma 100% their sales are crazy good value. Nitro series are great.
Nothing size 14/15 mens man
I got these for work, was cheap, normally wear the Adidas terrex line, im on my feet a lot. I got it thinking it would last me 6 months. Well I was correct it's almost 6 months and Im about to throw them out.
$50 for 6 months for every day use is pretty good. Like $9 a month.
I bought $150 CAT Workwear Boots and they have lasted about the same time and I need knew ones. I wear them most days.
You cpould spend 4x that and theyd still likely fall apart @ 6 months.
Ran a half marathon in these which was obviously a bad idea. Great for mowing the lawn and for helping your mate Daniel move out of his apartment
They ruined these shoes, they used to be great.
What's changed?
I've been buying them since they've came around and apart from them switching to boring colours and changing sizing (US 10.5 became US 10), I haven't noticed much difference.
Gave it away after trying it on from the last deal, it's cheap cause the quality isn't that great
Don't just buy it cause it's cheap
