    I don't have Buy 2+, Save 5%, maybe targeted

    • If you click one time purchase $4.25, does it show a little green banner 'Buy 2 or more, save 5%'? Checked the terms and it says prime only.

If so, add 2 to cart at $4.25, then in cart click 10% off with subscribe & save, so it adds both discounts.

      $4.25 $0.94 per g($0.94 /100 g)

I like this stuff but its basically just as healthy as Lucky Charms.

    • +10

Can you explain this comment? Lucky charms is 36% sugar, Carman's is 4.8% sugar. Lucky charms is 6% fibre, Carman's is 17.2% fibre etc.

Lucky Charms is a sugary breakfast cereal, whereas Carman's Low Sugar Granola is a high-fiber, low-sugar option made with whole grains and seeds. Lucky Charms offers a large amount of carbs and sugar, with a lower fiber content, while Carman's granola is designed to be a more satisfying and healthier option due to its fiber and protein, with less sugar.

Because it’s still 46 gms of carbs per 100gms. Whether it’s sugar or other carbs, still a lot of energy.

(Disclaimer: I’m pretty much a low carb nutter)

        • -1

          Got it, thanks for explaining.

Lucky charms is 80g of carbs per 100g altogether, still a lot higher, but I get the direction.

        • Dont be scared of carbs. Maybe if youre really struggling to lose weight you may get a slight benefit from reducing, but the majority dont need to worry.

            @ViperAMD:

            Dont be scared of carbs.

Unless you are doing Keto… then 'Be Afraid', be 'Very Afraid'…

          • @ViperAMD: Might need to increase carbs to lose weight. Maybe he is not getting enough and the his body is using the wrong energy source.

          There's nothing unhealthy about carbs.

Anyone saying that carbs are bad are living in a fantasy world.

In fact, the majority of low carb diets are far less healthy than a balanced diet that includes carbs.

        • Carbohydrates are fine and we need 4-6g/kg a day. It's the processed shit we need to stay away from (Simple sugars).

      • It's basically not true

        • About low carb? I lost 13 kgs last year going low carb. Didnt track calories at all. Didnt worrry about fat intake. Wasnt hungry. Might not work for everyone, but worked for me.

            Didnt worrry about fat intake.

Maybe think about getting a Coronary calcium score done if you going to stay on this diet.

Nah, that this is as unhealthy as Lucky Charms.

Does anyone have any museli bars that are actually healthy with decent ingredients

    • -4

      You can make them yourself:

      1 x cup of muesli
1 x cup of freshly minced garlic
3 x cups of dead fish and/or canned sardines
1 x cup of fermented shrimp paste
1 x cup of raw broccoli

Mix ingredients together with a fork and/or spoon, cut into rectangles and/or oblongs, trapezoids or parallellograms, and cook on the BBQ until black and/or smoking.
