      Wow exciting! Hadn't preordered with Samsung for years but knew they might send out phones a day or two early. In this case, they've shipped out ten days early. Which courier is it? I ordered a week after this deal was posted so wonder when mine will get shipped

          Thanks, I just got my startrack confirmation too. The tracking says it's estimated delivery date is tomorrow the 17th (Samsung order tracking says shipping out from 18th). Grateful it's coming early but I had only ordered a screen protector with it. Was going to get the case from Amazon so that I could return it easily if I didn't like it but it's not available there yet lol.. (it's also cheaper via officeworks/Amazon compared to the edu store prices)

            @kaebomb: Can't say I've ever worried about screen protector on my tablets. 5 years in my Tab S4 is still unmarked. Yet to decide whether to bother for just purchased S9. No harm I suppose as a precaution.

              @Borg: Kids.. Just warding off hairline scratches even though a glass protector is probably the better option overall. Never had a film on the ipads and there were heaps of little marks on them

        Considering Samsung ships out from Bankstown nearby, the quickest option would be to order online today and hope it arrives by Friday, unless the stores have stock now.. But not a fan of the official cases anyway. Overpriced and no pen holder

            @Justbuy: Got a cheap one to use in the meantime so waiting for that to arrive from china. Spigen release their ones in three weeks (in the US) so hopefully they're available here soon cos they have a few options that hold the pen

                @BargainBenno: Spigen US website initially but I did another search last night and saw that Amazon US now have the same cases so I've gone and ordered from there. Even with the extra shipping, it'll still be cheaper than when it lands here locally (judging by older tab case prices)

                  @kaebomb: In case anyone is interested, stay away from Spigen's Ultra Hybrid Pro Protective Tri-Fold Cover with Transparent Back and S Pen Holder for the Tab S11. The magnetic cover is way too weak when folded as a stand and keeps unfolding itself if you touch the tablet or pick it up. It might be ok if you never need to touch it but it's really frustrating. Will be returning it to Amazon. A few recent reviews on the site also share the same sentiments.

                  On the other hand, Spigen's Rugged Armor Pro Protective Tri-Fold Cover and S Pen Holder is better and it does the job for daily use. Magnetic cover is much stronger when folded into a stand. Will be keeping this one.

      You can use a IMEI generator, don't think it needs to be valid so any number will do.

    Fwiw some tech journos reported that a "pro" version of Samsung's keyboard for this tab is coming late '25/early '26 which will presumably have a trackpad (and heftier price tag, no doubt). By then I'm sure more third party ones will be available since there is barely anything right now

    Is there a better launcher for use with Samsung tablets that one ui 8? I know a lot of people talk about nova launcher but that is quite buggy. Due to the team that supports it being disbanded. I am use to an iPad and the whole use of gestures etc is so different

      Am surprised you would want to change One ui as it's one thing Samsung has done well (IMO).Why not adjust just customise it to your preferred settings.
      Check our the Samsung's "Good Lock" app, it is a software suite designed to allow users to deeply customize the user interface and experience on Samsung Galaxy devices.

          How about utilising the edge panel? Those icons appear much larger than those on the bottom taskbar. Go to settings and search edge panels to turn it on and customise.

          Alternatively, you can also adjust the Screen Zoom in settings to make everything appear more magnified and not just the taskbar.. the edge panel should really help though.

          When you do trade-in you should select one of the options which brings down the value to $1. Only in this case you'll be charged $30; otherwise it's $60.

            @KB57: Someone mentioned in the past, up to $10. I never tested myself though, easier to make it $1 than $10
