Get 12 Months Free OnePass Membership with Any Mobile SIM @ OnePass Mobile

1330

Hi all, at the moment you can get Onepass membership for free with any sims. Cheapest is $20 for 28 days (15gb). Or if you are a light user get the 90 days at $30 (20gb), which means you are getting 3 months of mobile for a tenner (as OnePass can be had for $20 at the moment I believe).

The good thing is that you can buy a sim and activate later (as per chat):

“Hi there, in general you have up to 24 months to activate the SIM from the purchase date without any loss of inclusions/consequences. If the plan you are wanting to buy includes any bonus data then you must activate by the stated date to receive it.“

Terms and Conditions

Free OnePass membership: The ‘Free Annual One Pass Membership Promotion’ is valid from 12.01am AEST 3/9/2025 until 11.59pm AEST 30/9/2025 unless withdrawn earlier at OnePass Mobile’s discretion. One Free Annual OnePass Membership is each available with each purchase a new OnePass Mobile prepaid phone plan during the promotional period and does not include recharges. A unique sign up link (“Membership Link”) will be sent to you within 24 hours of your order. Your credit card details will be required to redeem this offer. It is only valid during the offer period. You may add a maximum of 1 free OnePass Membership to any existing OnePass membership. Not available with any other promotional offers from OnePass or OnePass Mobile, unless otherwise advised. For existing OnePass members who wish to take up the offer, the 12 months membership will start at the beginning of your next billing cycle. If your OnePass membership remains active following the expiry of the free annual membership period, you will be charged a recurring payment, currently $40 per year, unless cancelled prior. Wesfarmers group team members will not be eligible for this offer. This offer can only be accessed through the unique link provided post purchase from OnePass mobile. The free annual OnePass membership must be redeemed before 11.59pm AEST 31/10/2025. Any promotional codes not redeemed after this date will be forfeited. This offer cannot be used with any other promotional offers. See full OnePass terms and conditions at https://onepass.com.au/privacy-hub/terms-and-conditions. You have rights under the Australian Consumer Law and other similar legislation which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified by OnePass. These terms and conditions do not exclude, restrict, or limit those statutory rights in any way.

what network does one-pass use? optus?

  • +1

available with each purchase a new OnePass Mobile prepaid phone plan

Again, it's for new customers only from Catch/OnePass.

    • +5

I might be misunderstanding you, but you can use the 12 months on an existing OnePass membership:

"For existing OnePass members who wish to take up the offer, the 12 months membership will start at the beginning of your next billing cycle"

      • +2

I mean for new mobile plan customers only, as always. No love for existing mobile plan customers, as always.

        • They offered it to existing users when they changed from Catch Mobile.

          • @askbargain: I don't think so. I have never received any offers from them.

            • +1

@bcYield: I received it as did many others here.
              It was a targeted offer.

    • +7

prime is $79 and onepass can get as low as $12. definitely it is not as good as prime event catch was still there. but for $20 a year you can get free shipping from kmart, target, ow and priceline. a few online shop will get your money back

      • +12

        +bunnings

        • +13

+1 for bunnings. I use free delivery to avoid wasting time getting lost in-store.

          • +1

@9adr: And 5 x bonus points on flybuys linked to onepass

          • +2

@9adr: Yeah the only one iwrh officeworks that makes it worthwhile

      • -1

OnePass is great if you don’t consider that C&C exists, which is free.

        • +1

it is not always has stock close by.

        • +2

I much rather free delivery than a hour round trip to my nearest officeworks, for example.

          • @starspawn: Exactly this. Save time and save petrol. Win win.

        • C&C is only good if you are nearby. Even then it's 10min dealing with the carpark vs it arriving on your doorstep.

    • Was worth it when catch was around, not so much now. Depends how lazy you are. Theres a deal for $20 at the moment but still not going to bother.

      • Depends how far you are.

        • Oh yeah

    • +2

What effort have you made to understand it?

    • Onepass has Bunnings as the big one with a range priced better than Amazon, and Kmart offers some better prices than Amazon. Officeworks close match but maybe a sale deal.

    • +1

Free Bunnings delivery is easily worth it the full annual cost for me

      • Also 4 flybuys points per $1

    • +1

And it's not owned by Bezos.

  • Can the 90 days at $30 (20gb) be used inside a cellular iPad?

    • I would think so.

  • +2

Best deal I can see is OnePass Mobile…..through Finder….ending soon…

OnePass Mobile 365 Day Plan 200GB Finder Exclusive
    Prepaid
    No lock-in contract
$149 for the first recharge, then $200/recharge + 12 months of free OnePass membership. Eligibility criteria, T&Cs apply. Ends 9.9.2025

Looks a bargain to me…Optus 4g network is carrier.

Must login via Finder link to get this deal.

Pay using Visa or Mastercard only.

    • Yes, only thing to be aware is that apparently roaming doesn't work with Onepass mobile (there is a cost and doesn't work well either) I was having a read on another thread. Personally for me 1 month or 3 would be the best bet as I do travel at times and would hate not being able to receive at least messages.

i am on trial for 3 month at the moment, anyone know if i can add on to that or i need to cancel it before using?

    • +1

      My email says:

      Existing OnePass member?

If you're an existing OnePass member, click below to log in, navigate to the manage membership page and enter your promo code ……. to redeem. If you are on a monthly plan, please be sure to initiate a plan change prior to applying the promo code. You need to redeem this offer before 31 October, but your free annual membership won't start until your current membership period ends.

  • Do you need to stay on the mobile plan to keep the onepass membership?

    • +1

I don't think so. You will be sent a link and you'll sign up for the one year, so doesn't matter if you keep the mobile or not. You could even purchase the sim and wait to activate it.

  • +1

The OnePass mobile is prepaid for a year, so you wouldn't cancel much before then? Not sure about the free annual OnePass membership but my guess is once set up you keep it for the twelve months until expiry date regardless of cancelling mobile plan or not.

    My joining link says:

Thanks for joining the OnePass mobile family! To keep the good times rolling, redeem your free annual OnePass membership (usually worth $40 a year) and start enjoying the benefits today. T&Cs apply*.

    Esim available?

    • +1

      Sadly no.

For those who previously applied a $20 renewal promo code:
I tried to apply the free year code, but it shows ‘Only one code is allowed.’
Then I attempted to cancel my membership, but it said: ‘You have a promo code applied for your next renewal. If you cancel, you’ll lose your single-use promo code and it cannot be re-applied.’
I clicked ‘Cancel membership,’ and the Apply code button disappeared. When I clicked ‘Reactivate membership,’ I was surprised to see that the $20 renewal code was still there.
So basically, even after trying to cancel, the $20 code remains locked in, and I can’t apply the free year code.
Has anyone run into this, or know a way to fix it?

    • +1

Thanks for your patience, I can see here that since you have a pending promotion that will commence on 22/1/2026 until 21/1/2027, you were not able to apply your new promotion. As promotion codes cannot be stacked, this offer cannot be used with any other promotional offers.

Apologies for that as we don't have an ability to remove your pending promotion. Your current promotion is applied to your account and your new offer cannot be used with any other promotional offers.

I've contacted them with no luck

    • Just start a separate account to use .

  • Unless Onepass do a black Friday sale with 2000 points flybuy to top up 1 year onepass this is the best deal

  • Info in OP's post about having 24 months to activate SIM seems to be contradicted by T&C on the website:
"Activate SIM within 30 days of purchase, or by the date advertised in a promotion, whichever is earlier, to receive advertised inclusions."

    • +2

I chatted to them and they confirmed 24 months. In the past I bought Catch connect and have activated ages later, so I’m pretty confident it’ll work.

  • Seems none of these are 5G plan, all 4G.

    • +1

Yes unfortunately OnePass doesn’t offer 5g and that’s why it’s cheaper. Same as Kogan and some other cheaper mvnos.

      • I don't do gaming and find 4g is fine for my use. What do you see as the problem using 4g?

        • I have 4g with amaysim and works well for my needs. I’m mostly on wifi though.

          • @fozzie: I am with Amaysim as well and its fine for me on 4g

  • Do you need to cancel this mobile plan? I only want to pay $20 once not monthly fee

    • They are prepaid one the term is over no need to cancel (but you’ll loose number unless you move out)

  • When I go to the Membership page, I can see that a $20 discount offer has already been applied to my account, and there’s no option to enter a new promo code. If I receive a 12 month promo code through the OnePass mobile signup, would I be able to apply it to my current account? Or would I need to create a new OnePass account to use that code?

    • lol, read my comment above.

      • Thank you, but I couldn’t find anywhere to enter a code at all. I also never selected the $20 renewal offer, but when I logged in, it automatically showed the $20 renewal offer. I might have to just renew it for $20. T_T

  • +1

I had cancelled my OnePass auto renewal before this offer. When I went into my OnePass account I think I hit renew and the $20 discount offer did not appear so I was able to extend my current membership by a year with this offer with no problem.

  • The 90 day one is now $40

  • Activated my OnePass sim and ported over my number yesterday morning. Can't call/text or use mobile data on either of my sims since then. Customer service says I need to wait 24-48 hours to resolve.

Never had issues porting with any other service provider.

  • I had no issues porting over our numbers to OPM but had to contact CService to get message bank working.
