The z50 ultra is on sale at JB down from $2999 to $1999 which is ATL.

I've had one for a few months now and it's been game changer for mopping from my original roborock dragging mop style robot.

It's also on sale directly from Mova with bonus 6 mop rolls, but do note there has been reported issues of it failing to return to dock, so I would buy it from a local store for the warranty instead. I've not had any of these issues as of yet.

Pros: Cleans well, mop is awesome and vacuum can go to the edge.

Cons: Potential qc issues, loud

  This is an awesome vacuum, there are reports of some of these failing to dock, mine has had no issue over the last month of ownership but definitely worth getting locally. You can also claim the 3 mop pads through this link. I purchased mine last month and they've just shipped my mop pads.

  Uh oh: this currently the top of the range Mova btw. Mova being the cutting edge experimental version of Dreame.
  I do dislike the dock’s appearance though. But…

    Was about to say the same thing. Its super tempting. My Roomba J7+ is getting a little bit old now. Been watching the Vacuum Wars reviews and its so tempting how much better the latest generation of robots are getting.

      This won’t be released in the USA for a couple of weeks yet, but I expect it will jump right up on vacuumwars ranking when it is reviewed, unless it’s priced too high.

        I'm not sure it will come to the US, the v50 just released there and got the top spot. The z60 is out soon in Asia as well, insane how fast they pump these things out.

          @sleepyowl: Quite possible. Currently, in the section about Mova machines FAQ, VW says

          “ When will the new V- and Z-series be available in the United States?

          The V50 Ultra Complete is currently available for purchase. The MOVA Z60’s release date is September 16, 2025.”

          Of course if supply constrained that might not happen.

          @sleepyowl: Yeah the V50 held no 1 spot on Vacuum Wars rankings for like 2 weeks and then the Dreame L50 Ultra was released. Its crazy how fast they are being replaced. Though the L50 does not appear to be available anywhere yet.

          I think the smart move is simply waiting for Black Friday. Will see what robots are available in Australia by that stage.

    I opted for the z50 due to the x8 having navigational problems when I was researching though the forums. Also at the time the x9 was released and it triggered me that we couldn't get it here in Aus hahaha

    The X8 has fallen pretty far down the list. The X9 is highly rated though, not sure when it will be available in Australia.

      I contracted JB a couple of months ago and they won’t be stocking the X9. I just got a notification for the pre-order of the DEEBOT X11 OmniCyclone - I’ll wait and see how that reviews on Vacuum Wars and might finally commit.
