    1180G7 + Units are B Grade

    $600

    Nah for me

    • agree

    • Needs a 4060 to be a deal at this price, eh?

Tsk tsk @wombat81. I wouldn't expect a biased marketer to be trustworthy :)

      They are selling the latitude 5420 for $1100 ! 😭 😭

The 7320 is a knock-off of the Surface Pro 8, without the high-def display.
But an important advantage of the Dell : it is easy to replace the worn-out battery.
      (Microsoft glues everything)

    • Yeap

  • The keyboards are probably cactus by now

    • Hi Commodore64,

Individual keys on each keyboard have been tested and working. Cheers.

$300 is maybe what it worth

      Hi ozvictor,

Slightly different use case. Simply comparing brains of a computer generally won't yield similar pricing, for example: Toughbook Won't present much value then.

      Cheers.

This. As much as I want this to be cheaper and cannot justify this price, it's clear a lot of people are simply looking at specs not the form factor, retail price when it came out etc. Windows tablet form laptops are generally expensive/not great value if you compare specs with standalone laptops. Also hard to find decent devices. Surface Go 4 for example is a rip off for such a slow device but for those of us that want portable Windows tablet, there isn't much choice ultimately.

Thanks for this. Many people don't quite understand the premium that Windows tablets come with, and I even agree myself that they are overpriced but what can you do.

Laptops similar in spec to these were selling around $280-$400 on eBay last weekend. Personally I wouldn't look at anything under 12th generation. There is a big leap between 11th and 12th.

    • 11th Gen performance for a tablet use case is fine - bearing in mind that these are for office work and media consumption, i5 and 8GB RAM is plenty. My own tablet is a new-ish Celeron and 8GB RAM and it's $200 worth of good-enough.

Yep, i5 12th generation is amazing. But wouldn't considering i5 11th considering how much my 12th gen slows down while editing large, complex Word documents.

    • Depends on use case, 12th gen amped up the efficiency and Intel increased how much power they could draw under "turbo" mode, but it means some benchmarks put it at 50% faster, others closer to 15% (which was the improvements based solely on manufacturing). GPUs were also very similar.

Desktop CPUs were hugely different, but mobile wasn't quite the same level of change.

It's not a completely offensive deal by any means (window tablets are overpriced), but it isn't something i'd consider.

  • Was recently quoted 350 for battery replacement so nah. Doubt its 94% more like close to 60% after 2 years of use

  • Any 7350 detachable available? Thanks

      Hi Ritzaus,

Not at the moment, but if something comes through then I will shoot you a message.

      Cheers.

  • definitely not a good deal. but YMMV

Do not buy one of these at this price.

They are great little machines but this era of this model has seen an increasing number of failures in our fleet as they reach (corporate) end of life - I'm talking motherboard failures, not batteries.

For a couple hundred bucks it might be worth the risk but for SIX HUNDRED dollars you're better off to buy just about anything else.

This is Ozbargain. Not fleece everyone and make a gain yourself. No deal.

  • I simply don't think this is a deal at all, certainly not a good deal.

    • Ok, whoever negged, would love to hear why this is a good buy.

      Unless OP negged me lol

I don't think I can even vote on comments :)

        • lol, have an upvote :)

    • It's a nice tablet. Price is supply and demand.

If you can find a similar tablet cheaper from a shop, then post it.

      • "Price is supply and demand."
Sure, but this is ozbargain, not ozfreeadvertisingforyourshop.

At this price there should be no demand because it's not good value.

  • What was the price beforehand? Seems this is just advertising of their store/stock.

  • how do these compare to Surface pro 7?
