Me too. The first one I assumed was an accidental short with a lightning cable. The second blew with one device connected. A few hundred mAh at 5v, wasn't pushing it at all.
Edit. I should say the replacement was quick the second time round. I knew all the questions they were going to ask
USB A ports are useless these days anyway. Old tech
Yeh to add to this I've got one sitting in front of me with a very dodgy usb-c port. Currently only charges my Samsung phone. No longer charges apple products for some bizarre reason
The usb c port on mine stopped charging my samsung galaxy. Bought a new cable because it never occurred to me that the issue was with the block.
Because of this comment I decided to check other devices, and it charges my power bank, Bluetooth speaker and old pixel.
This one vs ugreen?
IMO, Anker is viewed as a more premium brand while Ugreen is more famous as an affordable product brand. However for specific products that are in the same price range, probably best to look at the review on each of them
I go with UGREEN every time, fantastic quality.
I have both, in my experience they're about the same and I haven't had any issues with either. Just get whichever is cheaper.
I've had my Anker charger since 2023 and it still works.
can you please link to the similarly priced UGreen one?
Regular price for this. Always on sale.
Keep the receipt. I've had both fail and both get replaced (quick)
19$ approx is a standard price.
Echo on the above , mine got the USB-A port failed after couple of months although the after sale experience was fine
Almost double the price tho?
Was $23 when I posted.
The usb-c port on mine stopped working after 9 months.
Seems to be common for the USB-A to stop working per reviews, but haven't heard anyone else have issues with the USB-C
Watch out with these. Ive had two of them have their USB A port fail.
