Ryobi 36V HP Brushless 600CFM Jet Blower 4Ah Kit $299 Delivered / C&C / in-Store @ Bunnings

360

Picked one up today. Seems like a good deal considering it's one model down from ryobi's best blower and it comes with a 4ah battery and charger. Looks like it isn't on sale, but a "limited time" bundle.

    For comparison, a 550cfm 36v 4Ah kit is $369

There's other blower deals, OP maybe just add links up top rather than me creating a bunch more blower deals? I'll prep the info now

"Seems like a good deal"….it's never a good deal for your neighbours.

    • What if it's your neighbours debris?

    • -1

      What does this mean?

      • +2

When old mate decides to fire it up at 7am on a Saturday or Sunday morning like my next door neighbour is prone to do. He makes sure he gets up at the crack of dawn to blow all the leaves off his driveway, and then by 5pm, 98.79% of them are back again.

        • +2

I don't get it myself. Some people are so inconsiderate. I usually wait into 9 or 10 am before using blowers, garden tools, or the pressure washer. I have people in my neighborhood like you described though.

        • So it's not never, but do it in the day and then rake up the piles afterward and put them in the green bin. Sounds like your neighbour is just a dick, not that using a blower is bad full stop.

        • See how old mate goes with pumping the music at level 11 at night?

        • My rule for weekends is no noise before 9AM, almost all my neighbours seem to be doing the same.

These are pretty quiet whisper series arnt loud at all.

    • +1

I think you are confusing this with blowers that run on liquefied dinosaurs.

Ok, release of the 36v 6.0Ah battery for The Block.

6Ah battery itself is only $50 more than 4Ah.

All 6Ah kits reduce this by at least a further $50, and provides a charger (relative to the full priced base skin).

All 36v 6Ah Kits, as well as the 6Ah battery are on special

    • +2

      What are you talking about?

None of 36v 6.0ah kits are on 'special'?

They're all the stock standard ryobi/bunnings price at the moment.

      • Based on what exactly? 6Ah battery is new, so ehsg price history are you referring to?

        • +1

          What are you on about??

The 36v 6ah battery is not new…. they've been out for at least 4 years as I've got 2x that are 2021 and 2022 manufacture dates.

Wherever you get your news is very outdated mate.

          • @rbimdxe: From Bunnings?

At the absolute least, bunnings has never offered 6Ah kits (there is no price history on the first 3 kits I checked), and in most cases it's cheaper than the difference is battery price and charger

  • Does a 6ah battery works with movers and blowers that comes with 4Ah? Thanks

    • +1

      Yes.

    • If it fits.

The older style 36v mowers they didn't fit, so the 6ah battery used to come with a "gap filler" so the battery compartment would fit around the bigger battery.

Great for getting the bbq going

  • What about this one?

    https://www.bunnings.com.au/ryobi-36v-hp-brushless-garden-bl…

I need something to also blow the dust from garage and other areas.

Is this one better suited or the one OP has shared is good. Thanks

    • Maximum a 339km/h air speed, 191CFM - one you posted

225km/hr air speed, 15.5N blow force, 600CFM air volume
      One from this deal

One you posted how ever is 63db vs 90db that was posted. Way better than our work DeWALT ones at 112db haha

Better deal, but also worth noting that the trimmer and blower aren't brushless.

A friend purchased this combo and the the line trimmer is average in comparison to the brushless versions

  • Are any of the 18v blowers from ryobi any good? Reviews seem very mixed, but i dont really want to have to buy another bunch of batteries

    • +1

saw good reviews on the Ryobi 18v HP 510cfm blower, top of the range for 18v
but it's pricey, rrp ~$269 if I remember correctly

      • $349 with a 6Ab battery IIRC from looking through the range

    • +1

I bought the "Ryobi 18V ONE+ HP Brushless Compact Workshop Blower RCWB18X " and it's pretty good. Loud as hell and very high pitched so really need ear protection (and possibly neighbour protection). It is only 239CFM tho but works pretty well for leaves, dirt, lawn clippings etc.

Super compact as well so easy to use. It's also pretty cheap for the tool $149

  • I bought this a few months back and has been great. Blows leaves and grass easily and if you hit the power boost can move 20 mm pebbles as well (not that you want to)

  • hows this for drying cars

    • I've got the model above this one. I have the 36V HP Brushless 730CFM Jet Blower. It's great for drying my car, but my car is ceramic coated. I would only use a blower if your car has a ceramic coat. Without the ceramic coat you'd be there for a while, wasting battery, and better off using a good drying towel or combination of dryer and towel.

The 730CFM blows the water right off and I dont need a drying towel. 600CFM is still good, but you may need to finish the job with a towel.

Not a car guy, but only just recently watched the big difference it makes thanks to Project Farm

      • Do you know if the “stubby” adapters work for these 36V blowers? All I can find online are the 40V versions

        • Sorry not sure.

    • Was also thinking of getting this for car drying??

  • Was thinking of getting this. The 2amp 36v whippersnipper kit is also on a sale at $199
