FYI for those who don’t know already but tontine make Kmart anko pillows btw (I worked at Kmart for years and all anko pillows came in big tontine boxes) so make sure to compare your options between anko and tontine as they all come from same factory.

    • +1

Problem is in recent times Anko has become more Wanko.

      I am using these ones:
      https://www.kmart.com.au/product/2-pack-cool-touch-pillows-m…

and they are really really good, but the ones i bought i got a few years ago. Went to buy the exact same type, profile and everything again and they had reduced the filling/changed it somehow so there is now absolutely no support with these pillows, despite ostensibly being the exact same model type as previously sold when it was actually good.

Actually struggling to find good true medium pillows, not sure if OP deal is a good one or not?

How do people go when the new pillow style doesn’t work for them? It’s a hygiene item right so can you just return it and say you didn’t like it to KMart, Amazon etc?

I’ve taken to using IKEA for pillows and have taken three back already in the hunt for something that doesn’t hurt my neck.

    • I did return one to Aldi cos it was way too firm, and i have also returned to K-mart for above commented reason, they changed the product to have no support, so i guess you can return them.

Synthetic filling. No thanks. Ill stick with down.

    • Yes, and the micro plastics you’ll inhale from these pillows make then nothing short of a health hazard. So misleading for the company to classify these pillows as being positive for health. Of course I’m overlooking the dangerous chemicals they bathe these things in to inhibit dust mites and bacteria. Truly deplorable.

      • what pillows would you recommend, the kmart ones don't last very long before going out of shape.

        • goon bags

        • Latex all the way

'Sustainable Ultrafibre Filling'. Can someone explain the meaning of sustainable here?

    • +1

The same as eco-fiber, vegan leather, etc. Plastic. Sustainable because there's heaps of plastic and they can keep churning out pillows filled with that junk.

    • Recycled polyester

    • It’s already recycled from building material (which makes it sustainable) Synthetic ultra fibres from asbestos and fibreglass insulation.

  • Thanks!

  • Oddly the only item I tried (the memory foam pillow) isn't delivering to metropolitan Sydney.

  • +2

$48.5 ($160 rrp) for the latex foam. Is it worth it? I know seeing a spinal doctor costs more than that for a visit.

  • Also hard pillow available

    • But the hard pillows averages half a star lower in reviews. I'll try it anyway, I do need new pillows.

    • How people stack their pillows normally? Hard on the bottom, soft in the middle, and memory foam on top?

      • Stacking pillows? What are you, some kind of pervert?

      • concrete for the bottom, solid timber middle and 100% cotton top

  • anyone familiar with?

Tontine Luxe Supremely Soft Pillow - Medium
    Product Code: T6790

tontine discontinued these, they where great because i could wear ear muffs with them, haven't been able to find anything as good, looking for something similar

  • The link for the kids pillow points to a different product. Should be https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07H3SR8Q9?ref=emc_s_m_5_i_atc&…
