Just received a marketing email. I've never purchase this type of gift card from them before.

Reading from T&C, you need to:

1. Purchase a $25 Spending Money or Pocket Money eGift Card from Giftz (with a $2.50 purchase fee)
2. Download the MicroGifts app in order to put it in your Google/Apple Wallet
3. Claim a $5 bonus eGift Card by 14 Oct.

Total Cost: $25+$2.50=$27.50
Total face value of gift card receive: $30
Discount: 8.33%

Again, I'm not 100% sure coz it's something new to me. Please comment if I've made it wrong.

  I think the top up amount is the purchased card amount, no additional $25.

    Yeah this is the confusing part.
    They've put it into 2 steps, Purchase & top up.

    All cards are re-loaded on the same Spending Money Mastercard in the wallet.

    So my guess is $25+$25
    Now waiting someone to have a try. lol

      There's also card fee for top up using a credit card in the App. It'll result in a negative gain.

      It says top up to make sure the purchased card is redeemed before bonus claim.

        Maybe I should look it in this way?

        1. Register in the App for a $0 blank card.
        2. purchase $25 voucher code from giftz.com.au
        3. use the code to top up my $0 blank card.
        4. Total cost = $25+$2.50=$27.50

      I contacted Giftz this morning and they confirmed that purchasing a top-up directly through the MicroGifts app is not required for this deal.

      In other words, all you need to do is:

      • Purchase a Pocket/Spending Money gift card through Giftz.

      • Add that Pocket/Spending Money gift card to your MicroGifts account.¹ When you do this, the balance of the DigitalCash prepaid Mastercard tied to your MicroGifts account will increase by the value of Pocket/Spending Money gift card you are redeeming. For example, if you purchase a $25 gift card through Giftz, your DigitalCash prepaid Mastercard’s balance will increase by $25.

      • Submit the redemption form for your $5 bonus Pocket/Spending Money gift card by the due date.

      • Wait for MicroGifts to send out the bonus Pocket/Spending Money gift card (which should happen by 28 October 2025). Once it is sent out, you need to redeem the bonus gift card for it to be added to your DigitalCash prepaid Mastercard’s balance (which will then increase by $5).

      The Giftz website has also been updated to try and remove the confusing wording.
