Cast iron cookware with a non-stick coating completely misses the point for me. Plain old properly seasoned cast iron cookware will easily outlast these if cared for correctly, and without the potential risks of PFAS (PTFE) exposure.

Cast iron can be great, but coated with this crap? That makes ZERO sense (and is terrible for your health as well).

I thought the point of cast iron was to get hot, which non stick coatings definitely can not do.

I actually totally missed the non-stick coating. Just brought it home to find this - a WTF for sure. It's going back.

  Is it actually cast iron underneath? Go at it with an angle grinder to get the coating off, and then season it. A lot of effort though so may as well return and just buy a proper one lol
