Turns out this jacket is not for snow men, but for men to wear in snowy conditions. Got this recently at this price in black. Runs big as you would expect for a ski jacket. Did not know what size to get, so got alternatives (which also helped me get above the $140 for free shipping) and returned what I did not need to a DFO store which was promptly refunded without issue.

Warm, but bulky. Haven't experienced any quality issues yet, but seems worth a punt at sub-$50.

  How was the sizing seeing as you bought a few, were they bigger or smaller tighter fit than you thought?

    Generously sized. Macpac Halo in my normal size is currently a bit tight on me at the moment, same size in this jacket is loose (which I like), but possibly slightly too loose. As I said, I think this is a ski jacket thing, to allow for layering, which is what I was expecting having tried on different ski jackets in the Mountain Warehouse store before ordering online. The ski jackets were loose, the same sized non-ski down jackets from Mountain Warehouse (i.e. the ones that looked like Macpac Halos) were uncomfortably tight.

        That's probably right, though why not get both and return the one you don't need? Not difficult so long as you are close to a store.
