  • Noob question but - Is this another type of coffee pod? Or is it specifically compatible with nespresso machines? K-fee machines?

  • The Blue pods are often used in businesses and some hotels, They are quite expensive by comparison to other pod systems but at the same time larger, wholesale cost is around a dollar a pod for the original pods, these are compatibles.

  • These are a no name brand. Generic "high quality". Not something I'd risk buying just because it is cheap.

    • Hi Rusty,
Capsules are made by Best Espresso. In Italy they are known for quality products at affordable prices.
check for their poduct review in internet

  • Does anyone know of a place where I can get cheaper Map pods (Caffitaly)?
I get them from Harvey Norman for $6.50 or $7.50 for 10, but it is an effort to get to HN and checkout takes forever. I've tried Woolies select brand which is compatible, but don't like the flavour. Gloria Jeans is my next try, but I'd love just to stick to Map if I can find it cheaper.

    • Aldi :) Some of their flavours are not bad IMO.
Office works also sells Map pods for $6.50-7.50

      • Hi Sibbu,
Just be aware that Aldi and MAP do use a different system.
MAP uses caffitaly while ALDI uses K-fee
As information also note that Caffitaly, K-fee and Lavazza BLUE capsules are identical in shape however they are made for different systems and will produce different results if not used with correct machine/system.
        hope this helps

    I'd rather buy Genuine pods - http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/1-Box-16-pods-each-LAVAZZA-MODO-M… - 67cents

    Your deal - 60 cents.

A 7 cent saving for a generic brand without any reviews is no deal to me. It's like Coke vs Regal Cola….

    • Your not saving anything buying the ebay ones, as they wont work in a Blue machine which is commercial, not the home Modo Mio ones!

    • Mate
      you compare the wrong one
this is lavazza blue compatible and are very big brand in italy
      just google for it

  • Any chance of a good deal on the A Modo Mio pods?
