    Gen 3 here on its last leg. Justifiable? This i5-5300U struggles if I do more than Microsoft Office and Chrome. Amazing machine otherwise.

    You could be waiting a while considering the leaked roadmap states either 1st or 2nd half 2026. Also with the US GOV now having 10% stake in Intel who knows what the regime will want in return. There is a reason why their market cap has tanked in recent years, because what has looked good on paper hasn't delivered.

  I recently picked up a Gen 13 with 258v, 32gb RAM, OLED, 1tb SSD for 2k after stacking with topcashback. That would have been a better deal than this.
