Did anyone else receive an email from BOQ regarding statements with someone else's name on it today?

yep lodge complaint someone from the bank will call you start thinking how high stress level you are experiencing and come up with couple dollars compensation
Was it an actual statement with balances or just an email about statements?
if you got a statement, was it for your account?email about statements. It wasn't for my account, someone else's
Maybe it is a phishing email whereby they expect you to reply to them with your real details stating there is a mistake, and then the scam starts?
I only signed up last month and I haven't received my first statement from BoQ for the Smart Saver, so I'm not sure how it works over there, but I thought all statements were via the app like the Virgin Saver.
To answer your question, no I didn't receive any weird email from BoQ like you have described.

I would suspect it is a scam. What is the email it is sent from?
I would never click on a email from my bank. Even if I have "ordered" custom statements and I get a email. I log in manually and go to my secure messages/inbox.
Everyone should do this. It's the only way to be sure the message was sent by your bank, AND the bank can't deny they sent it. Take a screenshot if it's something important, like "We're closing your account".
