      Yes. I use trip.com nowadays because flights are cheaper, good customer support and can use the points to pay for other stuff. They give free airport lounge as well on different tiers of membership.

      I've used for a couple international flights - cheap and easy. I haven't run into any issues, so I can't comment on their support/CS.

      Trip.com is legit but I think these promos are Temu-ish where when you try to redeem it doesn't really exist or is so limited that it's not worth even checking.

      Earlier than that 2:03PM! Also my flight on desktop was $94 and in the app from the promo email link was $145…. yeah! I really think this didn't have many to begin with.

    I tried this promo for a $39 per night hotel in Kyoto.

    It turned out to be $179 per night for a single room this week!

    This is the second time, I have been tricked by this promo.

    A neg vote from me.

    In my humble opinion, promotions such as this one, which by and large seem to cause frustration for MOST of your customers, actually generate negative sentiment towards your brand more than they generate positive sentiment.

    My time is something I value. Wasting it, by making me jump through hoops that get me nowhere. turns me off your brand.

    Tried to apply code GIIZTXTBUN "$100 off Singapore Airlines, Departing from Australia Min. spend $500." to a $800 PER-SIN flight and got that it cannot be applied to the booking. False promotion. Uninstalled the app, which is (as always) harder to use compared to the website.

    I've tried several of these promos and never been able to get anything, definitely scammy overall because it seems like theres only one each of the "cheap" deals available, last time I tried for the $299 flights to Chengdu got to the checkout page with a few seconds from 2pm and when I clicked to pay it was already sold out. It is disappointing because I've found trip.com to be great overall otherwise, I've used two lounge passes due to my membership tier and their customer service was extremely helpful when I had a problem with my hotel in China. They need to make sure these deals are actually possible to get!

    The ACCC requires that a reasonable number of goods or services be available at the advertised sale price.

    Trip has clearly failed this test on this promo.

    Possibly, Trip is hoping that as it is located overseas, it can escape the ACCC's attention.
