Will probably come faster than my costco order…

      That's what she said.

      Sorry, I'll see myself out.

Im still waiting for mine from Costco too. Not sure why they take so long to ship out

      • +1

There is likely nothing in stock.

        • Then they should just cancel. More than a week and zero updates.

    • Pretty sure it has the exact same panel, all the specs are exactly the same.

Do a Google search, or ask AI to find out.

"The QM7K is the designation for North America, while the C7K is its European counterpart. Both models are part of TCL's premium QD-Mini LED TV lineup and share the same core specifications and features.
At their heart, both the QM7K and C7K boast TCL's AiPQ Pro Processor, a significant number of local dimming zones for enhanced contrast, and impressive peak brightness levels for impactful HDR performance."

Word of warning, the screen isn't same as on larger models. I wanted to get this one but it's matte finish plastic. Not glass looking, glossy as on other models. As you'd get on oled tvs for example.

    • +6

I prefer matte finish, less glare on the screen

But causes black raise a result.

    • +4

Most recommended the other way…ie..get the 55 as it is matt and doesn't have the annoying gloss reflection like the larger sizes.

      • -2

I'm not talking about preferences in finish, I'm talking about the image. I wanted the 55 glossy to use with my pc as glossy is a lot more clearer image, more dynamic, digital, sharper, detailed VS matte on closer distance, and smaller screens are closer.

If it's further like 3+ meters it doesn't really much matter the finish.

Finish is also in the price tag obviously since the cheaper qled, oled, mini led etc. All come in matte finish.

        • +1

Most people prefer matte finish for PC monitors as it reduces reflections. Glossy is preferred for gaming and videos.

Great tv for the price though I've had severe vrr issues with games that stutter. Tried with a 5060 ti and 5080 with the same results.

Other games with no stuttering plays excellent.

    • Yea same I am getting some flickering when playing Gran Turismo mainly in the menu and the part where you modify the cars for a race. I somewhat fixed it by changing the motion settings? It could be a HDR issue? Have you updated to latest firmware?

      • Yeah I am on the latest firmware, which I downloaded from that TCL telegram channel

I might win this In McDonald's monopoly game lmao 🤣

What is the reselling value of these TVs? Will I get 1/2 the price back in like 3-year time?

    • +5

      Lol

    • +1

The only way you will get any money back is if you return it for a refund. Best not to wait 3 years for that though.

    • +1

Why resell? My Sony and Panasonic Made in Japan TV's are 15 and 18 years old, both work fine.

      • +1

If it can last over 10 years, it should have a resell value. It costs more than a phone and lasts longer. I know it's not easy to transport and wall mount. 55" should be not to bad to do so. I'm asking because some people might move in 3 years and sell it over transporting it.

I wouldnt spend more than $100 on a second hand TV.

its a tv not a house

    Good price

OP, price now shows as $905 and available to backorder.

paid $1028 when it was last on sale - great screen for that pride… its a steal at $888

  • Price went up to 905

  • Just managed to get the 65" C7K for $1,045 delivered from Retravision (who were price beating Appliances Online at $1,180 via live chat, and using an RAC membership for the extra 5% discount).
With a bonus $200 gift card as well. (Sort of makes it $845 if you were going to spend $200 there anyway)
Only down side is that it's on a 2 week backorder currently.
The price was well worth it to me though (and still quicker than waiting for Black Friday deals).

    • Did they give you the gift voucher after the checkout. Thinking to get price match but scared they may not give me bonus gift card. And new member here, what is the process for RAC member discount?

      • Bonus Giftcards are issued at point of sale if purchasing in-store, if purchasing online they are emailed through once the order is processed by our team. - Malcolm
