  • That's a really good price on the 32GB microSD. I just wish I had not just bought a 64GB one from Amazon!

FYI - the 32GB MicroSD is a class 4. I picked up a class 10 32GB from MASTER on ebay (sent from NSW) for $24.95 with postage. The faster speed of the class 10 is worth the extra $5.

    • Hi Logical, thank you for your feedback. I will check with our management to see if we can do anything on the CL10 cards. I will update the post if we can do it this time, otherwise we might do it next time. I will PM you anyway.

I was interested in these Patriots until I did a bit of searching the interweb, apparently they are well known for failures.

Wanted to purchase but the checkout system failed. Wouldn't allow paypal fell through. No options to pay via credit card only store pickup (cash) or bank deposit. Very poor.

    • +7

Hi Reddog888, I am so sorry to hear that and see you vote a negative. I believe it might be a browser / cache issue on your computer. I tried on two computers with Chrome, Firefox and IE all worked fine. For security reasons we don't accept credit card directly. Also to maximize the security level, we don't actually process payment on our website, it goes through Paypal.

      • -3

No, not a browser error, tried several. System your end I think. Your system wouldn't pass it to paypal. Will not bother again.

        • +6

Hi Reddog888, we tried to recreate the error, but we can't. We received a lot orders today and most of them were paid by Paypal. If there any other Ozbargainer has the same issue, please let us know. Thank you!

No need to NEG coz there was a checkout error

      • When should you neg then????? If the deal does not work due to their system I believe in a neg.

        • +1

Well it's still a bargain, if you are having issues do as I did and pay via EFT

Have you tried a different computer? Different Internet connection? Try clearing your cache

Also I would give a big + for the fact that you can use EFT!

        • +2

I agree if it was. But if there is nothing wrong with our system, we are so innocent.

  • Can you tell me if the sata/esata cables are SATA III compatible?

    • +1

Hi spasto, the answer is yes. It is SATA III compatible. The MicroUSB cable is USB 2.0.

      • Is delivery included in the pricing? There seems to be an extra $13.20 for delivery when checking out. Delivery to NSW 2060.

        Thanks.

  • hello rep do you sell sata 2.5 hdd i need one for my ps3, i'm looking to get one cheap around the $40 mark

    • +1

Hi skyaldn881, I am afraid the cheapest is the WD 320G which price is $58 for pickup. If we can source some cheap one, we will let you know by sending you a PM.

  • Whats up with the shipping? Aus post is $20 for the micro sd card, but courier is free?…

    • Hi cheese510, can you please PM us your post code and suburb? I will get the web guy check it. Thank you!

      • Strange. Its not letting me PM you. Ill send you guys an email.

        • Hi cheese510, it is strange… Anyway, please direct your email to [email protected]. Thank you!

        • FYI, i am going thru checkout, and this is what I see based on my postcode

          Australia Post
          Standard $12.70
          In Store Pickup
          West Melbourne Store $0.00 <——
          Notting Hill Store $0.00
          Delivery - Courier
          Free Shipping $0.00 <——
          Fastway (Brown) $10.50

Obviously 'Free Shipping' should be 0.00 :)

          I'd select store pickup anyway

Suggest you read Whirlpool thread re CPL before purchasing. I have had my fingers burnt dealing with them and never again.

    • Hi WV1, It seems you had a bad experience in CPL. Would it be a misunderstanding or miscommunication? Would you please tell us what was the problem or what can we improve by sending us an email to [email protected]? Your feedback is much appropriated.

      • +2

        Suggest you read http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies.cfm?t=1397621&p…
But you are probably already aware. Its fine if you have no problems with an item but if its faulty be prepared for a very negative experience in obtaining a refund. In my case I payed a restocking fee on changing over faulty RAM after a lengthy argument even to get that offer. Also paid restocking fee on a MB that had an recall on it by INTEL just to get it changed over and get out of the place. Will never return to CPL which is CPL's loss as I used to be a frequent customer.

        • +1

Hi WV1, sorry to hear that. That's something would never and should never be happened in CPL. I did a quick search in our database and checked with store managers, I can't find any transaction match your claim. Would you please provide the tax invoice number and let us know which store did it happen? Our management will contact your to sort it out if it did happen. We have served roughly 126000 customers in last year. Of that number we tried our best to make everybody happy, but obviously there always would be a few unhappy customers in each year. Our goal is making every customer happy, and 99.99% of our customers had very good shopping experience in CPL. Thank you again for your criticism, that helps us to improve our service and provide better service to all our customers.

        • Sounds like mwave

        • +2

What a laugh searched the database and checked with store managers. It might be that you want to come on ozbargain to promote your online sales and convince all what a great store you are but CPL's treatment of customers who had legitimate returns is renowned. My and others experience as detailed in many posts on Whirlpool attest to that. Fortunately with the internet consumers have a voice.
A leopard does not change its spots.
The store as an aside was Nottinghill Vic.

        • But why can't you simply provide CPL your invoice no.to get their rep to sort it out?

        • You should have a look at some of the recent threads on whirlpool regarding CPL.

All good if your item has no issues what so ever, but if you're in need of warranty, doa etc it appears from the threads you're on your own.

I 've been shopping with CPL for nearly 15 years, I am quite happy with their service. Some people will have problems anyhow anywhere
, I guess you are one of them.

    • +1

thanks for sharing, you shouldnt be singled out for sharing a bad experience
hopefully the rep here will be able to go a bit futher

      • Well I was earlier. Seems people don't want to hear about bad experiences here, except when it suits them. Even my neg at the top of page was removed some how. I note someone else has now given a neg, assume it was WV1. Good for you! I wonder how long it will be before it is removed as well?
