    • Kmart ones start to Rust after 6 months.

      • My daughter's had hers over 12 months. Rust free.
Not saying it's as good as the Stanley but for $5 you could buy 2 if you were worried.

  • great pink can show off my fav colour around the office

  • Don't forget, the more of these you buy the more you are doing for the environment! (I do dig this colour though…)

Can someone explain to me why people went crazy for an expensive bottle?

    • +1

      Status symbol is my guess.
I keep getting told I NEED a Yeti, but the OzBargainer in me can't justify the price for it.

      • They're not even that good. Dont retain heat that well.

  • How well does it hold alcohol?

    • Not well. You can’t even hold sparkling water. It’s only for water lol

      • Damn. Not worth 3 bucks then =(

  • Thanks op. Great find. Kids have been at me for them so will love it at Christmas

    • No worries Dajaba! :)

  • Wasn't there a boycott on these due to having lead inside?

    • +2

There is a disc on the bottom of the bottle that seals the vacuum seal, and its braised on with a lead based solder.
It is on the external side of the container and is coated.
Water/fluid never comes into contact with it and you can't even physically contact it without it being damaged and the coating taken off.

But people like to read just the headlines and blow things out of proportion!

  • Some of these cups are known to blow up with hot water
