Hey guys found this playstation light at kmart for only $7. Cool for a gaming setup. looks like they are clearing them out, picked up the last one at kmart southport. box was beatup but everything works fine. Its cheap and i wouldn't pay $20 for it. but for $7 its a good deal.

Do these lights turn on automatically when plugged in? Thinking of plugging it into a timer switch as a nightlight.
Not sure about the PS one but the Mario one doesn't. There is a small button on the side that turns the light on.
I have the PS lights and it's the exact same
damm, the button is not a permanent toggle?
The button toggles through different effects before turning it off.
I got one and Im hoping if I plug it into the PS5 usb port, these lights will turn on automatically when the PS5 is turned on, and off when off…
it looks like you have to press the button every time, its a bummer
I've got one and there's a workaround, bit stupid but it works. If you tape the button pressed in, it automatically turns on when power is applied.
Note doing this also means it will always go back to the standard solid on mode, i.e. you can't toggle to the other lighting modes.
More landfill. Cheap and nasty gimmick stuff that people will lose interest in after a short time. People have to stop buying crap crap

Super Mario Bros lights are also $7. They are pretty good.
