I'm currently using the Thermo Pro ones… Usually around $15 - $17 when on sale. They have bluetooth and a good app to log and graph the temp and humidity.

        • I went down the rabbit hole using esp32 and ble280 or DHT11/22 sensors for temp. Quite neat when in homeassistant, too many options and never ending of AliExpress parcels turning up.

  • @jv is this the one you're referring to? Currently buy one get on free.

Stock up on AAA batteries when on sale…

They take 1 each and they last for about a few months.

          • @jv: With bt devices i put a Bluetooth proxy using esp32. Example i got one for victron smartshunt and i can see it on phone and no need to be home. If you want ability to monitor it when away. @jv also quite cheap pH/moisture sensors you can addon pretty easily. For the greenhouse. And automatic water system if too dry. Hate i got into esp32
