Anyone with Sihoo Doro-C500 Experience

Has anyone here had experience with the Sihoo Doro-C500 chair?

I'm in the market for a solid WFH chair around the $1000 mark, and this one seems to tick all the boxes. But I’ve noticed there are barely any reviews or mentions of it in forums—curious if anyone’s tried it out?

  • For that price get a refurbished Aeron.

    • Pretty different products, I wouldn't just assume OP wants a (used) Aeron which is vastly different in features and dimensions.

      • Thanks! Yes, I know everyone keeps saying the Aeron is the Rolls-Royce of ergonomic chairs, but just don’t feel comfortable paying that kind of price for a used one—buying second-hand always feels like a gamble.
An adjustable headrest was a must for me, which is why I’m looking at the C500. It seems to offer excellent adjustability for its price range, and from what I’ve seen, it ticks a lot of boxes ergonomically; it just doesn’t have that many reviews yet.

        • Yeah I've been on the same hunt, I do like a headrest, and am interested leg rests, I've been to several showrooms to try different chairs and it has been very useful, it's hard to imagine buying an expensive chair without sitting in it first so I'd be wary of any model you can't try for yourself. It truly is different for everyones preferences.

          • @AustralianCyber: I totally agree with the idea of trying a chair first-hand before buying, but unfortunately, that’s not an option for me. I'm in regional WA, and there just aren’t any ergonomic furniture shops around. So relying heavily on reviews and looking for a chair that offers a wide range of adjustments—hoping it’ll be a good fit.
