Hey all I'm trying to chase a clean discount for a TP-Link Deco XE75 (Wi-Fi 6E) tri-band mesh.
I'm eyeing these right now:
Bunnings (sold by Bunnings, Special Order) XE75 3-pack — $497: https://www.bunnings.com.au/tp-link-deco-xe75-axe5400-tri-ba…
Amazon AU XE75 2-pack — $449: https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B09SPN9B32?tag=…
(2-pack only; easy returns)
eBay XE75 2-pack — ~$375 (FutureGear): https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/…
(likely parallel import)
Goal: near-full 500/50 in a far room (tri-band backhaul). I only need two nodes, but I’ll buy the Bunnings 3-pack if the discount stack makes sense (can resell the spare).
Questions for the hive mind:
10% Price Beat at Bunnings — has anyone successfully price-beaten this exact 3-pack SKU recently? (I know Marketplace listings don’t count, and competitor must have same item in stock.) Any legit cheaper 3-pack to trigger the beat?
PowerPass — does this SKU get any meaningful trade price, or is it usually the same as retail for networking gear?
Gift cards — best safe source right now for discounted Bunnings eGift cards with PIN (so I can use them online if needed)? ShopBack? Motoring clubs (NRMA/RACQ/RACV)? Any live bonus-points promos at Coles/Woolies on Bunnings cards I should time?
OnePass / Flybuys — worth joining purely for this? Any stackable points/cashback when paying with gift cards?
Alternative play maybe if the 3-pack can’t be beaten, would you just take the Amazon 2-pack @ $449 for easy returns and be done with it? (Two-storey brick place; I can place the deco just before the dead zone.)
Any current stacks, recent success stories or “don’t do X, do Y” appreciated. Cheers!
I'm looking at the same ones. If you have access to The Good Guys Commercial, a three pack is $445.
Hopefully you received the targeted store credit. Keep an eye out for TCN Him gift cards for Everyday Rewards points or 10% off.
